How to align your bars and stem with your front wheel | 3 ways to choose from

First, start by loosening the two pinch bolts that clam the fork. Before we adjust the bars it’s best to make sure you have correct preload. This can be done with the bolt on top of the stem. Put your hand around your spacers grab your front brake and rock the bike back and forth. If you can feel play tighten the bolt. If not, loosen the bolt. Have the bolt as loose as it can be without play. Once you’re at that point tighten the bolt another half turn to make sure everything’s snug.
There are a few ways to align your bars. Some much better than others. I’ll show you the three best ones. From there you can decide what’s best for you.
One your done tighten up those pinch bolts again.
