Don't ride past your abilities, slow down a bit.

Main problem I've had in my first 100km or so of E-MTB is slow uphill tight rooted corners..The torque from the rear just pushes the front along the root and boom... dirt. Luckily they are slow and not a big deal... Probably a downside of being clipped in as well.

Bombing down a narrow single track, a branch was sticking out into the trail. My handlebar caught it, I was off the bike and on the ground before I knew what happened. Bruised and scraped up but luckily no rocks on that portion. Both shoes came off and I had to replace my helmet, it didn’t look bad but my LBS said it should be replaced. Took a bit to shake that off and get back on the bike. Needless to say no PR’s that day.

The only way to stop crashing is, quit riding ! I always wear my helmet, gloves and eye protection, they've saved me from injury more times than I can remember

Pro tip wear gloves. Unlike the man making the video. 🤣

I used to crash at least once every ride. Now it's once every 3 or 4 rides ... that's how I know I'm pushing hard enough :) thank God for Leatt pads!

Worst accident head on with bike with no breaks Aero bike should be in a Velodrome not a bike track, needed new rotor, wheel straightening and shifter, this happened last Wednesday. Told by big name bike shops nothing could be done until next January due to being busy, local bike shop had me back on the road in 3 days, so give your local bike shop a bit of trade to keep them running and they will keep you running. No matter what you do you cant account for total idiots out there.

I have recently brought an E-mtb. I consider myself a reasonable skilled mountain biker but since having my e-bike I’ve found that I am prone to understeering round corners. I’ve found that reducing the power on downhill helps but I still experience this issue all the time ( it is better). Any advise for preventing this would be appreciated

I am always doing the roll back. Thinking I got this steep climb until I lose all my momentum.

I've slid on my face a few times cross rutting on sidewalks with crappy maintenance. Probably my worst was hitting a ditch that was deeper than I thought, got the front wheel stuck and threw me a good 3-4metres straight over the handlebars. Luckily I only scraped my skin up good, but my bones were solid.
