It really makes good sense to align the clubface to the low point of the swing. I don't recall anyone else teaching this. This is an ah ha moment! Thank you TS

What am I missing when I align it at the low point and the ball launches higher? Am I wrong when I think low point is forward in the stance ? Thanks for any help

Low point would be ball joint of the left shoulder (which is perpendicular to the target line). This is a reference to help align the club to the target initially. Not all shots do we play the ball directly on low point (not aim the body parallel to it). This is a reference for how to find the target line initially and then adjust ball position from there. Let me know if that makes sense. Typically if you play the ball off of low point the flight will be higher (pressure might need to be started forward to compress the ball still though).

I don't understand why you're aligning the ball on the inside of your lead foot for an iron shot.

Ball position has a lot to do with swing direction/ club path. I use this to neutralize my path and get the exit lower and more around
