Good video. Been studying for sometime now. Bought our current home, renovated and lived for nearly 5 years. Current equity is just over 110k however we cannot access it! 😡 we want to buy and flip couldn’t, we wanted a buy to let couldn’t do it. Our current mortgage was fixed for 5 years, so remortgage is upon us. We can not access anything! ‘Affordability’ yet salary is nearly 40k a year. It’s madness. Mortgage of 123k property values 245k. Even looked at porting to access funds that way, but our lender said like for like only, so cant access funds that way either. The only option to us is to pay more mortgage off, however with the rates of the new mortgage coming in our monthly payments are nearly doubling! I am totally disappointed and although I keep pushing to find a solution I keep hitting walls. It seems impossible and very different from all those I see online! 🙈 keep up the good work 👍🏻 subbed and liked 👍🏻

Can you take it to another lender that would give you options and take over your mortgage from your current lender? Sorry, just asking, not sure if it is done this way in the UK.
