Hey Lia a new Star Trek TV series is coming out, Starfleet Academy...and I heard they might still be doing auditions for it...I have no idea how getting into something like that would work, but maybe you know because you are an actress....something to look into when you go to Los Angeles. There are lots of British characters in Star Trek...it's all one united planetary government in Star Trek, all one country. Captain Picard from TNG is supposed to be French, but they had the actor speak with his "posh" British accent on the show. 🙂

I'm guessing they dont really interact with their viewers. There are so many questions and no answers from them. I would like to know some things as well. Guess i have a lot to add to the amount i have now before i even get a Bridging Loan. Beans on toast for the next 2 years for me.

I very much doubt that property will meet the incoming EPC minimum standard, meaning 2 years of 'profit' will be spent on upgrading it. Not ideal.

I once found myself living in a HMO a mixed race person in the HMO was racist and said the P word to me. Can you imagine if I said the N word? I want to be around Asian people more. Other races are racist to other races. Better to stick with your own race when living in a HMO in shared housing to avoid racism.

It's all about the pressure form what society dictates... I am in the highest tax bracket and could afford to buy but I don't want for many many reasons

Hi Lia, After coming across your channel earlier this year and making sure I do the right research before contacting you guys directly, I would like to ask for your help. I like that you guys are a smaller operation and concentrate on not going to big to fast. I have just been made redundant this month and would now like to implement my idea of going into property with my wife. I have been working on it for the last few months and have most things on paper but not live. Works very easily in a rising market and with decent tenants. It's very difficult to lose money in property over the last few years. Also most youtubers are doing HMO which don't suffer nearly as much with non paying, property wrecking, won't move until court evicition tenants - the relevance being they don't know the true risks of vanilla btl as they've never experienced the problems. All it takes is a few idiot tenants, a rocky housing market and properly soaring interest rates (no I don't mean 5% that all the youtubers call high!). You can do well in property but most young youtubers have never experienced difficult conditions yet.

Am I missing something here? If you spend 145k pp. spend 40k refurb. Then it's only worth 160k. Doesn't that mean you've spent 25k more than its value? As well as the hassle of the refurb? Sorry. I don't understand the logic.

As a property developer and landlord myself i can confirm the majority of these figures are 100% made up🤦🏼‍♂️ they dont factor in half the costs. They dont factor in anything for empty rooms, insurances, breakages, maintenance, cleaning, ext... Also nobodies getting a managed rate of 10% 😂 theyll be lucky to be making £600 a month after costs and fees and could probably make that renting as a full house.

So they can't pass legislation without consent of the moderates. And of course we in the Great State of California will resist. Rest assured, if you come out here for that acting gig, you will be among like minded people! Same for the City of New York. 🙂 I hope you have a good time in India. I would like to visit there someday as well! I take public transit everywhere; we have world class transit here in California, so you don't really need a car, unless your job is at odd hours or involves driving, or you have kids.... 🙂

Lol, we used to tape up the letterbox because people would put fireworks through them. Maybe it was to block the letters but social housing areas are probably different to what you're used to
