Johnny Harris and his team put out a lot of great content but this specific sequence caught my eye, which is why we are breaking it down and recreating it. It uses one of my favourite techniques: THE MATCH CUT.

For the maps Johnny uses a plugging called geo layer, doing this manually is time consuming, but it's good to know the techniques first thanks for sharing

You can easily set it up as a preset with FX Console where you just have to create an adjustment layer and then add the preset. Then you wont have to add the keyframes manually!

Great Vide man!!! I have a question, how can I combine animations at 15 or 12 frames per second in videos at 60 frames per second, something like what you did at the second 0:15?

Thank you! Add posterize time to the layers you want to be in a lower frame rate. I shoot all my videos in 24fps. In this specific instance I exported the text you’re referring to at 24fps BUT I added a posterize time to an adjustment layer. So add posterize time and set it to your desired frame rate and export at the frame rate of the video.

I know you kinda profits on sells, but just let your, cheap, poor, followers, like myself, know an alternative way to make it looks similar to the final result. Thx a lot.

You can get a similar effect by making 3 copies of your comp and adding the rgb effect. Set each one to its own colour channel and change the blending mode.
