I canlt select the mask after the first move, As soon as I click on the Mask PAth the pen points in the corners disappear and I can no longer attached the mask and move the edge points....strange because I have done this before. Any advice on why I can't select the mask?

hey guys i have a problem, after effects even if i set the memory usage to reserve 5 or 6 gb of ram, after 10 minutes it ends eating all the memory till system crash. Why the settings doesnt work?? i have 32 gb ram i tought was enough? i am working on a simple project with just 2 layers wtf
