How to Give your Furniture and Antique Look with Antiquing Wax:
Step 1) Swirl your wax brush into your jar of antiquing wax
Step 2) Use circular motions to apply a thin coat of wax over your entire piece, making sure you get it in all the nooks and crannies
Step 3) Use a dry, lint-free cloth to buff off the excess wax until it feels smooth and dry to the touch

I am working on refinishing a 150-year old family dining room table and about a dozen mismatched chairs. I have used a milk paint in various colors on the chairs, and would LOVE to try using an antique wax on them. I love the video!

As for what I would do with the wax? I have several pieces I am working on right now. Most likely it would be a mirror , a new fun antique dressing table or antique table I plan to paint. I am starting up a new small consignment business this summer painting pieces for a thrift store. If it does well I plan to build hold classes, and begin to carry your products. I would love to try the gold wax. Thank you for your professional videos, and wonderful tips.

I have some natural wood shutters. I’d like them to be a medium blue and then white distress over that. What would you suggest? I do want them to look shabby chic

I'd suggest Nightfall, Belle of the Ball or Dune grass for the blue. For the white distress, you could use a few options. Our Limestone glaze would be a great white wash look over the blues, as would the White Wax. You could also use Simplicity and dry brush it over the blue!

hi. As you have both antiquing dust, what differentiates the 2? in other words, if I want to antique a piece, how do i tell which one I should use?

Hi Michelle, That's a great question! A lot of it comes down to personal preference. Antiquing Wax is a very dark brown and tends to add quite a lot of color and depth to your piece. If you're going for a more subtle effect or you like the different color options available with Antiquing Dust, then that might be more your style.

chris carlson We don't advise using our Tough Coat on top of antiquing wax as it is a water-based product that will not adhere well to wax. It's best to just keep antiquing wax off of seating areas or use our furniture glaze on those areas instead (which can be sealed with Tough Coat).

Jessy Jordan McCrindle I would try adjusting the settings on your headphones/speakers and making sure they're fully plugged in. We've found this can affect the balance sometimes!

Hi Cory, Sorry you were having troubles with the video! The music comes out of one speaker/headphone, and the talking comes out another, so make sure both of your speakers/headphones are plugged in and working :)

why speaking only in one ear? My other ear is perfectly fine, and I'd love to listen to the speaker with it, too. Also you didn't show how to actually use dark wax and spent time on promoting your products. That's called poor content. Good luck.
