How to apply a WW2 German Helmet Decal Tutorial

I'm in the process of putting a Luftwaffe eagle decal on my replica M38 helmet. I'm looking for what to do after the decal is affixed to preserve the decal.

@@masudashizue777 you don’t really need to do anything so long as it’s a quality decal. DDay1944 do the best.. Luftwaffe is always harder to apply because of the wings so be careful and gentle,

Looks good...did you say the helmet was Finnish?, I thought those helmets had a different rivet layout?, cheers 😊😊😊

@@steelhelmetstan7305 yeah they have horrible rivets I changed them to German ones. Thoufht I mentioned but did it very quickly 😂 I had 2 more to repaint but the green on this one was pretty nice so decided to just keep it as is

@@LiamCWW2 the helmet looks great....I reckon I'm ok with my 3 german helmets....I just like helmet collecting in general , the prices are getting nuts!🤣....more deacs to buy I think 🤔 🙂, cheers Liam

@@steelhelmetstan7305 agreed! I’ve got too many (circa 15) but a few are Finnish one Hungarian and post war painted ones. I completely missed the days of them being a few hundred for a double decal but even paying the crazy amounts now I’m sure they’ll only keep going up if you hang onto them. And you can enjoy them at the same time! The DD heer I just got was silly money but couldn’t resist 😆

@@LiamCWW2 me too , I didn't collect like I do now years ago....on reflection though, 30 years ago I'd just got married and bought our first house, so even spending £100 on something was an extravagance....I just kept to books and die cast models in those days 🙂🙃🙂
