This is an important skill all nail techs need👍👍👍 Tips will not give the same result as sculpted nails. With regard to your tutorial, i would personally use a clear acrylic base and encapsulate the coloured acrylic in clear, 3 reasons: 1- to save wasting the coloured powder when you file off excess which 99.9% of us need to do. 2/encapsulated glitter gives extra depth, a 3D appearance. 3/When the client wants a design change, you remove the coloured acrylic only, leaving a clear platform to begin the new acrylic design. This is just beautiful and you make it look sooo easy! I’m a cosmetologist who turned RN, I don’t take care of my nails, but I want to. Nurses are not supposed to wear fake nails. However, I love this technique, I’ve heard that if one breaks is not as painful as when you have tips. I’ve never done nails, I did hair cuts. Do you do your own nails? Hi Cruz, we don't recommend using a form to apply dip powder. The adhesive could stay stuck to the form and not work properly. However, I have heard of nail techs doing it this way. I will see if we can do a tutorial video for you. :)

Queen Sparta My piece of advice here: I’ve experienced that roughness from salons too and now I do my own with polygel. Skipping that part, will prevent adhision so, get a soft nail file (like 240 grit) and with very little preasure, buff your nail. It’s like caressing your nail but with a soft file. No adhision problems and not harm caused either!

Yes. Buffing the nail plate does allow for the nail to properly adhere. If it's done correctly, it wont damage your nail. The crescent dent is most likely being caused upon removal. Most of the damage occurs when nails are removed improperly. Do they file off your product? 🧐

Just would like to ask because u do it and it works. After adding the Beed if it's too dry and ur still manipulating the acrylic just wet the brush and continue manipulating the acrylic before it drys.

Bee Ambee acrylic dries on its own no need for a dryer and it starts curing as soon as you pick up a bead you have about a minute to play with depending on temperature and humidity. The colder it is the longer it'll take to cure.
