Will definitely have to start reusing this product again! Just saying to other viewers : this product doesn't help keep your foundation matte. If you have normal to dry skin it's fine. I personally tend to get a little oily so this product is used less but sometimes I mix this and my rimmel stay matte!😊

I fell in love with this powder since I first used it and I've always swirled all the colors together. Sometimes I just focus the brush on certain color like green for redness but then go over all the colors again. I use this even without foundation.

+nail lover My best friend swears by the Glamoflauge. I haven't tried that one because I personally have a really hard time with liquid or cream concealers, but I ADORE the Glamoflauge stick concealer that comes with two different tones. The one I use is "fair," I think (the second one in the range, cooler toned). I use the slightly salmony side under my eyes and the brighter side to lighten blemishes, etc before I apply foundation. It's definitely not full coverage, but it blends beautifully into the skin when you use your finger or a blending sponge and makes a big difference. I love it so much that I have repeatedly considered the regular Glamoflauge even though I don't usually like that kind of concealer! Worst comes to worst, keep your receipt! I have a dedicated place where I put ALL my beauty receipts so if something doesn't work, I can always take it back!

When I saw this palette I thought I'm not touching that. I thought putting this powder under your foundation has to be a bad idea. So I'm relieved that Elf has not lost their minds. I'm having a hard time getting my mind around color correcting after you apply foundation. But It did look good on Nora.

how do you determine if you should get the warm tone or the cold tone?

If you look at the vines in your wrist in natural light, and it's more green toned, you have a warm undertone. If it's more blue toned, you have a cool undertone. If you can't tell or if it's not distinct, you have a neutral undertone

minea minion thats how mine look sometimes, i always go with warm tones and it always seems to compliment my skin, if you're still unsure, else is fairly in expensive, you could get both and see if you notice a difference. I hope this helps a little

I got the Cool Primers and had only used them a handful of times before it took a nosedive and shattered. Since they are applied by using all at once, I was considering doing a repair like you would a broken compact or eyeshadow. I know its $3-4 to replace, that's not the issue, I just hate the idea of waste. What do you ladies think?

Brie ECP Repair it! Look at similar products like the (super expensive) Guerlain Meteorites and the (much less expensive similar product) Elf Correcting Pearls: both are containers of small pink/blue/yellow or green individually colored beads, that you swirl your brush in and apply - all colors blended. Soo - repressing your shattered, mixed up powders works just the same! Actually, no need to even repress...just break it up more until you have evenly sized bits, then swirl your brush in the loose bits and apply!

My question is: why would anyone still need to tone/correct AFTER applying foundation? Unless the foundation is super light in coverage (or more of a B.B./CC/tinted cream), a foundation is entirely meant to even out skin tone and NOT leave skin looking uneven/still in need of correction, right? I can see it being useful maybe for those who only use sheer coverage base products and may want a bit more “evening-out” still. It would be cool if this powder also has some kind of light illuminating ingredients so that it would give skin a glow on top of foundation, giving it some useful property regardless of foundation coverage level beneath. How does this differ from Guerlain Meteorites or the newer Elf correcting pearls (both seeming like loose pearl versions of this compact)?

+Bethy Napier I actually thought I was supposed to use the colors separately, but it was pretty difficult. Then I saw the e.l.f. video and they just used all of the colors. I guess if you only have areas of redness, you could just use the green, but I just found it worked better using all colors and I noticed a better pay off. But honestly...I didn't specifically notice any difference in her skin tone in this video...

There's some colour theory involved but the thing to know is that GREEN reduces RED (ruddiness, pimples), YELLOW reduces PURPLE (shadows) and I dont know what the cosmetic purpose of the blue and pink powders are but BLUE reduces ORANGE, and PINK (light red) reduces GREEN. If you mix all the colours together youv'e missed the point of the product

Look at your veins in your arm...if they are more blue/purple then you most likely are cool toned...if more green then you most likely are warm toned. Search on KZbin there are some good videos that talk about it. Makeupgeek has a good video. :)
