I applied this product with a roller over the Epifanes primer on the bottom of my just completed wherry. Good results. With a dark colour (in my case a very dark brown) you really have to get down and squint across the surface to ensure even coverage - this is true of any dark pigmented paint. The boat will be used in fresh water and will be taken out daily.

I had a muppet paint my 35 foot steel cruiser with two pack. I'll do it myself next time. Epiphanes is an excellent product

Easy and long working time is the complete opposite from my experience. It’s a great paint but loses its wet edge within seconds, on top of adhesion issues to their own primer prepped to their own instructions.

There is definitely something wrong there if you are experiencing those sorts of issues. If you are rapidly loosing a wet edge, I would take a guess that this is due to your application conditions. Applying in direct sunlight or windy conditions can cause a rapid loss of solvents which would create this effect. There are things that will help you to counteract this but ultimately the best fix is to try to improve application conditions, this might purely be down to selecting the appropriate day or time of day for application based on weather conditions. If you are having adhesion issues to their primer then something has been done incorrectly with the preparation process. If you want help with getting to the bottom of why that might be then I'd be happy to help you.

@@DanLeeBoatbuildingthis was inside a heated shop during winter, around 70 degrees, however extremely low humidity. But not in wind or direct sunlight. Now Epifanes woodfinish varnish had no issue with application or adhesion in the same conditions. I liked the paint but was not impressed by its issues in application.
