Health insurance is not included. I have seperate cover via my bank account. I would recommend you getting cover separately or going for one of the visas that include health coverage although that visa is more expensive.

I think you selected the wrong visa if it’s coming up as $105. The electronic visa waiver is $41. For passport picture, make sure it’s in a compatible image format like jpg.

That shouldn't be the case. You might need to rotate it before uploading. Sometimes rotating on the phone just saves the metadata that its been rotated but this is lost when uploading it. You have to actually rotate the image and then save it in that orientation before uploading. Hope that makes sense.

You’ve left it quite late to apply. The website seems to be having an issue. No idea when it will be fixed. Last time it took about a week to fix. If I were you I would just keep trying every day until day of travel. If you don’t get it then you will have to pay for visa on arrival when you get there. Only downside to visa on arrival is it’s more expensive.

Yes. This visa allows you to perform umrah and bring back zamzam water. Some airlines misinterpret the rules. Just put zamzam in your checked luggage and not hand luggage.

Have you ensured the pictures are accepted? It might be due to that. Also check there are no hidden fields. Some fields get hidden depending on what selection you make further above.

Very helpful. I've been wrestling with this all day. I think there have been some updates BUT they are not good! There's a Beta site but when you try it, there is no option for the e waiver.... only the $147 visa. So I went to the MOFA site like you say. HOWEVER..... a) after several attempts, a little tick box appeared to fill in if you don't have a previous nationality.... so that issue went away! B) I was presented with a long list of insurances that I had to select from.... weird... all at different prices, but no description of the policies! C) when I came to pay, it came up at $187.81. A seemingly random number AND NOT $40! I gave up and will try again tomorrow. But this has been a nightmare.

For previous nationality just put down the same nationality if you don’t have a previous one. Remember this is only for uk citizens and residents.

Thanks for the video! I followed the process and filled out the online application 12 days ago, I noticed on the dashboard that the Application status is "Send to Embassy." When I print the application, it shows "Entry Visa Application" with two pages. The first page has the application number, purpose (Umrah), duration (Single - 30 days) and my details. The second page is in Arabic, with guidelines and blank spaces for my name and signature. It cost me $10.50, and the payment went through. Do you think this looks correct? $10.50? It’s usually $41. You can use your application number and passport to make an enquiry on the first page before you login. That will retrieve your visa if it’s been accepted.

I was doing it for my family. After I finished mine & paid, went to HOME & started another EWaiver application for children. Fill all the info & fill the application number of mine (better note the number after completing the 1st adult). The only issue is if I dont fill the father's name in child's name field, it comes up as error. So I filled my name, it went through but on the visa it printed my daughter first name then MY NAME and daughter last name. Will this be ok? You can bring Zamzam water on evw. The purpose of the trip being tourism also includes umrah under that category even though it doesn’t specially state it. There have been some reports of airlines misinterpreting rules but those are rare. Rest assured you can bring zamzam water as long as it doesn’t go over your luggage allowance.

The ksavisa is working now, without any bugs. I applied for 4 visa's for my family and got them issued immediately after payment. Is this their official website? They seem to have quite a few and so can be confusing. They have VisitSaudi, Mofa (the one you are using in this video) and the KsaVisa website. Will they all be ok for UK nationals to apply from?

Yes. They launched new ones to replace the old ones but the new ones never worked properly or didn’t have all the visa options. As a result you might still need to use the old ones. When I tried I couldn’t find the option for the electronic visa waiver on the new one but I have heard that it is now available. Just make sure it’s at the correct price of $41.

On the main page, where it says, 'visit', 'transit', 'work' etc etc, teh last one is 'other', select that, and then it's the first option - Electronic Visa Waiver. I just found out today, after commenting on your video earlier, that i can also see the visa's that i have been issued from the ksavisa website on the main Mofa site. So thats a plus. And yes, it cost me $41, which i paid via Revolut so i wasn't charged any foreign fees as such as i am applying from UK.

That should be ok. I think as long as the dates cover the time you are there you should be fine. It’s when you put a date that is after the time you arrive then you might have to do either another visa or just get a visa on arrival when you’re there. Like I said you’ve put a date before so you should be ok as I’m sure putting a day earlier would also cover you if you’re flight was delayed for example and you arrive a day later.

Not sure. Some people eventually after chasing got their visa. You can try making an enquiry if it shows that status. I don’t think there is any issue applying from within Saudi but you will have to leave the country and come back in on that visa so as to not risk overstaying on your existing visa.

If it is working, then yes you can go ahead and try that although as I have no experience of it, I cannot say for certain how the form is compared to the old one. Hopefully it should be somewhat similar. Just make sure the visa waiver option is there and priced correctly.

Apply when logged into the same account. You just need to enter the adults application number. I think you miss out the first letter and just use numbers.

Travel insurance isn’t required although you may still want to get it just in case you need to use their health facilities. You can book a rawda slot once you have your visa number. Don’t forget to also book an umrah permit on the nusuk app too.

I hold an EU passport but I am a UK resident with ILR (Settled Status). You said in the video the visa waiver is also available to the residents as well as the nationals. However, on the website I only see that it is only available for the UK nationals, it never mentioned anything about the residents. Even when i try to fill in my application on the old platform it would automatically fill in my nationality as United Kingdom (which I don't have). How do i change this? and are you absolutely sure that RESIDENTS are also eligible for this e-visa waiver?

I’m sure it is. People with ILR with foreign passports have been. It states UK nationals and not UK passport holders. Just have some proof that you are a UK national eg ILR. Try applying and see what they do. Most likely you’ll be granted it I’m sure.

For a Childs application, it is the visa application number that is needed. If they have accepted your visa then I wouldn't worry about it.

Yes I believe you should be able to. The application isn’t clear and simply states that they need to be of British Nationality. I would try applying and see if it accepts it. You can also try calling the helpline or the Saudi Embassy.

No restrictions with the visa. I have heard some airlines applying their own rules on zamzam water and adding additional restrictions. Some saudi airline staff seem to think that you can’t bring it on a tourist visa but that is incorrect.

Salam Update and tips for beta version: You can get ev waiver on this, just when apply for visa, go to “other” and it will be the first one listed. Beta Website is very poor but working. Still buggy and sometimes won’t load properly and buttons although rarely won’t register when clicked such as “next” or “submit” You must make sure you fill out the application quickly for it to submit otherwise if you try to submit it will just refresh the page or get a timeout message, forcing you to start again. When you submit it won’t give you a preview to double check your details and instead will take you straight to the payment page, so quickly double check before submitting

E visa allows you to perform umrah. An umrah permit is only specifically for umrah and is mainly used by visitors from other countries that cannot apply for an e-visa or a tourist visa.

Sorry I misread your question. Yes to perform umrah you need to download the nusuk app and submit for an umrah visa. You need to select a date and time for performing umrah. This essentially allows you access to the holy city although it isn’t strictly enforced but its advisable to have it. It is enforced if you are travelling from other cities like Medina using the trains.

180 days is the max you can stay. It will default to that when you put your dates in so nothing to worry about.

Have you tried the helpline and email listed on the visa page? If they are no help, you have to options. Apply again or just do visa on arrival when you get there. It will be more expensive but the other visa options will also be expensive.

Yes this would allow transit although if you aren’t actually stopping in Saudi and using a carrier like Saudi airlines then there is no need for a visa as you won’t pass through immigration. You’ll simply connect airside from one flight to another. If you are intending to leave the airport then you will need a visa. You can apply for this online.

I can only think uniform probably means it needs to be a square image or a standard sized image. I had an issue where it complained about the size so I sent it to myself via WhatsApp which reduced the size and that worked.

It’s usually instantly. On the login page there is an enquiry form that allows you to query your application. It’s possible that it was granted but the email failed to arrive. Try that form to retrieve your visa if it’s granted.

Answer the travel history as best as possible. It doesn’t need to be 100% as they don’t really check from what I can see. It’s more of a declaration. With applying for multiple people, there is no requirement that they be related. It can be for friends and family.

You might have to spend the extra and just get an eve for one of you. That way you’ll have a number to use. Alternatively you’d have to do visa on arrival which costs more but will work for your children.

If it’s just the payment page failing, try it again. But try a different bank card. The payment part is separate to the application part so won’t make a difference with a new application.
