You have to link your passport to the EVisa. It is mandatory. BRP could have been used to create the EVisa account.

It’s good to link passport with evisa. As immigration officials will use your passport to check your immigration status. I’m not sure what happens if you don’t link your evisa with your passport

Do you mean on arrival visa "in" Dubai? If so, you need to apply for visa to go to Dubai. I had to do that as they weren't allowing to fly even if I had UK evisa

Hey! I’m not 100% how to fix this issue. But BRPs are valid for a grace period till March next year. So, you should be able to travel without issues. I would suggest carrying a copy of this webpage that confirms the extended validity of BRPs (if in case anyone is not aware at the airport) - www.gov.uk/government/news/visa-holders-should-switch-to-an-evisa-now
