Hi Andre. Great tutorial! I have a registered dormant business that's 3 years old. My returns are up to date. How do I go about getting my business tax clearance? My personal tax efiling profile doesn't show my business details. A tax practitioner did the business registration back then, now they've disappeared.

You can create your own eFiling profile for the registered business - it might take a while for the tax types to get activated though.

A CIPC registration normally registers the company automatically for income tax.

@@FranckChanda I would not recommend that. They need to register for eFiling themselves, go to SARS and apply for a Tax Clearance Certificate or they can ask a tax practitioner. You can assist them with setting up their eFiling profile though.
