Hi! so I received my sales and use tax letter from NC the same letter you actually showed at the beginning of the video! But don't you have to fill out an E595E form on top of that to purchase wholesale? I've been so confused trying to navigate all of this on my own. But every time I try to create an account to buy wholesale, they require the "wholesale or resellers" permit but the sales and use tax letter isn't what they're looking for. Hi there, I just watched your video great information. I also just applied for a wholesale resale license only because I want to get a good deal on T-shirts. My question is do I need to get an LLC right now because I’m just doing craft fairs and I have no idea if my shirts are going to sell if people like them or even if I want to continue with my small business of making T-shirts and hats. You don't have to get an LLC until you are ready. You do need to get a DBA, doing business as at least. You have to have either of them. Once your business grows and you want to really do it full time and it's taking off you might want to consider getting an LLC.

Not a stupid question at all. You need to first register your business yes and get an EIN before you get your reseller’s permit

The wholesale license is for you to buy from any vendor who requires it and you can sell anywhere. Just charge the correct sales taxes for various states and countries.
