Some common mistakes when applying for your SIA Licence include: Entering their middle name in the forename field. For example if your name is David Lee Rodgers, your first name would be David, middle name Lee and Surname Rodgers. If your drivers licence has an abbreviated name on it - for example MD is short for Mohammad. If this is the case, you would fill out your name so it matches your Drivers licence and put MD as your forename and any other names in the middle name and surname field. I hope this helps.

The SIA licence is only a requirement for working in the UK's Private Security Industry. If you are not from the UK you can still get your licence, however you must have the right to work in the UK and be able to supply a criminal record check as well as a few other checks.

You can use your original and valid passport as your primary proof of ID. For the two proofs of address, you may provide your bank statement (issued within the last 3 months) and your driving licence. Please ensure that both documents are in their physical form.
