Did you have to explain to Sheria House why you didn't have the Certificate of no Impediment? Do the officials at Sheria House know that the UK doesn't issue Certificate of Impediment to Commonwealth countries?

Yes we did. Luckily though, we had obtained the certificate of no trace from Scotland which is equivalent to the CNI.

We were there with the 2 witnesses and our 2 kids. They only allow couple and witnesses inside and kids if you have.

Hello, no. Only the documents I meant in the video. Original ID, Birth certificate and single status affidavit from a lawyer ( any lawyer can draft it for you)

You can start your application before. She can get evisa before and return flight reservation/ticket. She only needs to be here for the appointment where they check all your documents.

When the two of you go for Interview, They will check your documents. Originals. (Carry photocopies just in case). If everything is okay, you will pay the Ksh 9,700 then. In the same office.

@JamesMwarandu no. You only pay during interview. They don’t work on weekends. Check you ecitizen on Tuesday or Monday evening.
