This video was sooo helpful, I have a bag in the exact leather and bought carbon pro but was unsure about using it. Knowing what to expect through the process and the tip to constantly shaking to improve the application eases my mind. I would love to see a video on moisturizing and protecting Coach suede. Thanks!

Hey there. So coach makes their own leather cleaner and moisturizer. You can purchase from their store along with a cloth. They recommend their cleaner and moisturizer as it is made specifically for their leather and they cannot say yes or no to other cleaners as they do not know the ingredients in the products. When cleaning and moisturizing, clean in circles an moisturize in circles. Hope this helps. Of course I understand the visual demonstration is more impactful. Just hope this helps you in some way.

I am glad I am able to help. I am very confident with this spray. This is the most delicate leather Coach makes so if it's fine for this one it should be great for everything else. Use it well on all your leather goods you want to last, cheers!

Thank you for this demonstration! I have a question, I recently got the coach bandit bag and it has the "C" hardware on the front. Do i have to cover it when spraying it? Or is it not an issue when it also gets sprayed? Same for the rest of the hardware. Thanks!

I never cover the hardware on any of my bags. If I don’t like the finish on it you can just wipe it off with a damp paper towel. Hope this helps ♥️

I’ve never had to reapply but anytime you get the bag wet and wipe it off I would reapply.

Yes it does! It will darken when sprayed but will lighten right up after!

I'm horrified my coach backpack got ruined when I cleaned it with nail polish remover the black leather color rubbed off & when it dried it got spotty it looks like dried snow globs fading on the leather I was thinking if I can use a spray on black leather color on it? Any ideas would be appreciated, it was supposed to be a gift but in this condition it looks obviously ruined. Hopefully I can restore it please help!!

Oh no!!!! Im sorry that happened. Next time definitely don't use nail polish remover that will completely remove any finish or dye that it touches on leather. I think you can probably use a moisturizer that has color added to it to try and help. If you prefer to not do it yourself you can take it to a trusted cobbler and they will be able to fix it for you. Hope this helps and you are able to fix your bag!

Unfortunately this is from previous collection so they aren’t available new and I don’t have a link. If you are willing to buy one on the preloved market it’s called the Coach utility crossbody 18 and this one is in the plant green original natural leather. If you do a search on resell sites it should pop up if available.

I haven't tried it on the Dooney leather but I have no doubt that it works on it too. This natural leather is pretty much the same thing as Dooneys and is perfectly safe. Yes anything in the originals collection would be fine to use it on.

Thanks - this is great! I usually use the Collonil WaterStop spray, as it's a water protectant. What's the difference between the Carbon Pro and the WaterStop I wonder? Maybe the WaterStop is a bit of a lighter layer or more gentle? The Carbon Pro may be more heavy duty? Anyway - let me know if you have any idea. Hmmm not too sure but to me the water stop sounds more intense. Not too sure but I have had great results with this so haven't really had to try anything else they make. I hope you enjoyed yours!

@@ralphbydesign it's weird, because both WaterStop and Carbon Pro both say the same thing in the description - a thin layer that repels water. I did hear that WaterStop is better on virgin vachetta, as it won't darken the color of it (I can attest to that) - but that Carbon Pro will darken virgin vachetta....but other than that - they seem the same! Maybe I'll try the Carbon Pro sometime just to check it out! Thanks :)
