New sub here. I love that her foundation is matched to her skin tone so refreshing compared to the YT mua that have shades too dark for their skin.

Thank you beautiful I’ve been learning make up as I go so I’ve only learned the basics and I’ve made it my own. So I got liquid highlighter and had zero idea. You’ve helped me immensely I’m so glad your doing this. I use a bit of eyeliner on my finger and thumb and pinch the sides of my nose and blend it and it makes my nose look skinnier. Idk if there’s a better way anyone can let me know? Again thank you so much.

Hey! :) I'm happy to hear that you find this video helpful! :) What areas on your face do you want to highlight? :)
@alyssiatworkowsky9893 жыл бұрын
@@MelissaVanDijkTheSkinDiet I’ve got my cheekbones and then my jaw line then alternatively I want my nose to give an appearance of being smaller it’s not huge but I’ve had it bit off by a dog and so it’s never been the same. So when I do my makeup I’d like to highlight those two areas and minimize my nose. Plus I love cheekbones.

@@alyssiatworkowsky989 Ok, just make sure not to overdo it with the highlighter. Otherwise, it may give the appearance that those areas look larger.

can make you make difference between liquid highlighters and Powder highlighters...which is better
@MelissaVanDijkTheSkinDiet3 жыл бұрын
Both are great, it just depends on what suits you the most or what you prefer feeling-wise a lot more! :)

I have textured skin so which highlighter would suit
@MelissaVanDijkTheSkinDiet3 жыл бұрын
@@jmuskan675 Do you have dry or oily skin? Also, do you use any skincare products? You may want to look into cream highlighters (stick or in a jar). Or even use cream/liquid eyeshadows that have a nice highlighting shade. Like Revlon's Cream eyeshadows! :)

I wish I could use moisturizer… my skin is so oily, about an hour into wearing any makeup (or none 😂) my face will be so shiny… I could
@MelissaVanDijkTheSkinDiet2 жыл бұрын
So, have a look at oily regulating products like Niacinamide, Salicylic Acid and/or Retinol products best would be in toner/essence or serum forms to keep it lighter on the skin :) Also, using setting powder on top of makeup or when wearing nothing at all should help to keep the skin matte :)
