These seem to be a newer version of the mail guard. Mine are a bit stretchy. I just stretch it over the edge of the nail and then use a nail file to file off the excess (like you do). This process removes the cutting step.

I ended up not posting it because it turned out being a mess. I didn't dip enough over the clear so when I went to remove them it just came off in chunks and was a hot mess. I will have to try it over clear again sometime. Thanks for reminding me! ❤️

I have these and have been too scared to use them, plus I wasn't sure how to remove them. I do a mani and take it off the next day. Sometimes the same day, if I don't like it. I think when I can do nice mani's with all the dips I will start to use them. Have you tried the Korean skincare app 0.8liter? I love it. I love skincare products too of course

I do love these, a total game changer, and have used them for a few months now with hard gel and dip (I'm about to try polygel). However, even though I keep my mani on for at least a week, the last time I removed my hard gel with these on, I had keratin granulations on several nails- therefore, a bit of damage. I never pry these up- always with an orange stick, cuticle oil and just a bit of acetone and am very gentle and take my time. Have you ever had any of these issues? I really worry about damaging my nails again, which is why I went off acrylics for more than 8 months and only wore adhesive backing press ons like ImPress.

I haven't experienced any issues when using these. So far I've been able to remove these every time with no damage. However I do switch off and on using different products like builder gel, peel base and soaking off in between using these so I'm not using them every time I do my nails.

I don't have to use them because the builder gel just peels off on me (see my latest upload for an example). But if you are going to use them underneath you would put them under everything, directly onto your natural nail or acrylic overlay. Hope that helps! ♥

What is the difference between a nail guard and the sticker nails

The guard is designed to go under a nail application like gel or dip powder for easy removal VS soaking off. They work really well! The nail stickers are more of a decal in place of gel or dip for something easy and fuss free. I've used both. They remove much the same way but definitely feel different.

Nothing unless needed. Sometimes I need to trim my cuticles back or buff a nail but typically I just put them straight onto my bare nails and start dipping!

How long does they last with glue on nails?

I've never used it with glue on nails. However, dip powder base is an adhesive just like glue so I would assume it would last just as long. So about 2 weeks or so.
