I would have lightly sanded after the second coat with 220 grit and recoated. Minimum 3 coats. 5-7 coats for best results depending on the wood and project.

Thanks for information. Can you put really hot dishes and it will not affect the surface? How many layers should you apply? I have a wood canvas that I have acrylic paint guess I can do the same? Do you stir the polyurethane before applying? How long to wait before applying another coat?

The result that I got is very great. The polyurethane is transparent. It is almost impossible to see any lines
