How To Apply Potted Glitter Gel! Full Coverage ✨ Glitter Gel Nails

Looks like I’ve confused some people because I did not state that I already have hard gel on my nails before applying this product! 🙈 I am applying these products on a finish filed hard gel nail, so it does not matter if I apply a gel polish color under the hard gel glitter. You cannot use this potted glitter unless you have a hard gel/builder gel base already on your nails. ❤️ The Buttercream is a hard gel, the Bemi Beauty Box leaf gel & Magpie Gel Polish are both soft gel.

Another popular topcoat for glitter is the Jin. B crazy top gel. I use it and it's really durable and shiny.

It’s a hard gel color. ☺️ I’ve had cracking when using a hard gel top coat over soft builder gels. So I’d advise against it.

If you use a gel polish (soak off product) as a base colour, wouldn't that be a recipe for the gel polish to crack by putting the glitter gel (hard gel) on top,? Especially if you are putting enough of the. glitter gel on top by floating it on for a more opaque coverage?

Because I have a builder gel on my nails as my structure, it doesn’t matter if it’s gel polish or hard gel on top. ☺️ I would not have used this hard gel glitter if it was just over top of a gel polish manicure.

Soak off Top Coat is using a Acetone to remove?? and Hard Gel is needing a drill bit to remove? Trying to understand and am not quite sure.

Soak off can be removed with acetone, hard gel is file off only. I remove everything with an efile.

So gorgeous! 🤩🤤💖 How do you handle all the bubbles when you apply the glitter gel after you have stirred it? When I stir my gel pots, it creates so many bubbles. Even when I'm stirring carefully and slowly. I have tried "folding" it carefully in the pot as well, as someone told me it would be a better way to avoid bubbles, but it doesn't seem to work either 😣

I don’t really experience a lot of bubbles when stirring the glitter gel. Maybe some big ones, but if I let the gel sit for a few minutes after stirring they usually have already risen to the surface and are gone. ☺️

I believe Wipe out and Edgar Allan Pur Poe are both discontinued. Great tip though. This is how I apply glitter gels too :-)
