I have experience wallpapering and would like to advise how very important a super sharp razor cutter (box knife) blade is and also, let the ends of the paper dry about 20 to 30 minutes before you trim it and it will cut so much easier. You have to be really careful not to tear the paper trying to trim it. It will tend to tear easier if still really wet. Putting plastic on the floor when you wet it is a great idea. It’s called booking when you fold it like she did after wetting it so it can soak into the paste. That’s very important too. Try these tips and enjoy your wallpaper!

Very nicely done. Supply list with photo very helpful. Gave me confidence after my last wallpapering 30 years ago. Fun fact: I once wallpapered an understands tiny powder room in a Capitol Hill 1920's house at 8 months pregnancy.

I’ve never done wallpaper before and was WAY more nervous about it than I obviously needed to be! I have a simple pattern that doesn’t need to be lined up perfectly so I’m excited for how it’s going to turn out now! ❤️

You girls are killing it! I am in construction and have owned and operated a small company with my wife for 18 years, and in that time have NEVER done wallpaper. Here where I reside in SW region the interior finishes are all tile, texture and paint, which makes me a novice and dare I say “amateur”. Saw your vid and read some comments as I was impressed with your ability to work together, efficiently and productively all while being filmed and God forbid while laughing! Now I draw the line at laughter on my sites as it indicates less work and more fun which is a serious violation of policy. Jk 😜. You all keep it up, your can do attitude comes through in the results and your ambition is no doubt a testimony to your willingness to DO and not just talk, RESPECT!!!

Hey! Thanks so much for this encouraging comment! It totally made my day!!! This was such a fun project to tackle with my sister in law. I was really stressed I was going to screw up her baby’s room- but over a year later- it still looks perfect! 😆

Thank you for the video, I am 60 and not to happy as I have torn a muscle just a few inches off the sternum bone, but now trying to do the wallpaper step with a new wallpaper project in my rental cottage kitchen, so slow going I am sure, B-U-T thankfully I found your video as my paper is also pre-pasted and I had no idea you had to let the glue "activate". Far cry from the 1989 wallpaper that I just removed, though it really didn't need it. So-o with that said, thank you for a great video, I wish I could work "as fast" as your time-lapse. Keep Calm and Wallpaper On...!

Can this be done on textured walls? Specifically “knockdown” textured wall
@KarleyHall2 жыл бұрын
These walls are textured- but it is recommended for use on smooth walls. If I could go back, I would have skim coated these walls because you can see the texture through the wall paper a bit.
