Yes , even I am planning the same . Once you join an international airline you would be probably earning 2 lakhs + per month wich is eqaul to 24 lakhs a year .That means working for 5 year with that airline you would definitely afford your pilot training along with Type rating .Even you can join cadet pilot program .

And it's also not confirm that you will become a international cabin crew in a frst try.. And the opportunities in international airlines is less than domestic airlines..

(Just sharing my feeling because it provides relief) And there is me....who is, -Poor -No rich relatives -No extra property other than own house, to take loan against (collateral) -General category (i.e. no scholarships) -Male (very low chance of getting scholarships) -Rejected by IAF, because I wear specs. (The powers are little high for flying the Fighters but fine for airliners.) -My height is 167cm (at least 170 cm is height required for Cabin Crews). Only option that is available for me is to work and save money. I don't know how many years it will take to finally have that enough amount of money for training. Also I do not know if I will be at a suitable position in life to jump into a different career. I don't even know if it is possible to save money for training, after fulfilling all the basic need of me/family, medical schemes, and 'for emergency savings' by doing a regular job. Not to mention that we experience inflation, and training costs are increasing day by day.

I want to be a pilot too but this much amount of money is not possible for a middle class family. Maybe this dream will always remain a dream. Though I informed my parents about education loan but they think that would include a lot of interest and all. Plus I recently read something on quora that not all people become pilot after a cpl and some always stay at home and that demotivated a lot cause investing a lot of many and getting nothing is of course not acceptable. You sign a bond with the airline before the airline training promising that u will work with the airline for some time ( mostly 2-4 years) ... So if u plan to leave the airline in less than 2-4 years then u have to pay 30 lakh rupees as u have signed the bond for that

Take the competition level to the general level My sister got 640 in her NEET exam.. she got a college outside Delhi .. But for the same Delhi college a sc / st with 525 marks was getting a seat... But when we get to know that such incapable / fool students from st / SC get the seat in the most prestigious university / colleges while the more capable and intelligent general category students don't .. Also if you use your brain 🧠 a bit , you will easily get scholarship ... Worth croes But we won't get.. JUST TAKE THIS EXAMPLE 1) I AM A STUDENT WHO GOT 98% IN CLASS 10 TH BOARDS... BUT I AM FROM GENERAL CATEGORY..I WON'T GET ANY SCHOLARSHIP .. MY DAD WILL PAY 70 LAKHS... 2) ON THE SECOND HAND A SC / ST PERSON WITH 70 % IS GETTING SCHOLARSHIP WORTH 70 LAKHS FROM THE GOVERNMENT.. Bro it's a very dynamic question. And, no airline pays fixed amount as salary to pilots. I have seen pilots with similar experience and have a huge difference in salary. BTW, there is something called as "contract" Between employee and employer if contract ends you can come out and explore other opportunities too. That's why many IndiGo pilots are seen switching. Note: most of pilots who came out were working with company for more than 5-10 years.

sir i cant go for iaf coz when i went there for medicals myopia is not allowed basically specs are not allowed yes hyper myopia upto some level like 2 or 2.5 or something is allowed but not myopia and i couldnt join it and i can litrally say majority of specs people have myopia not hyper myopia so to that people sorry . lasik surgery is also not allowed .

I'd say its kinda risky, some airlines don't consider after 30.. but MOST have a cut off of 35 years... just make sure you have that in head before you invest huge $$ in this field
