There's no doubt being a Pilot comes with lots of perks and benefits but not to forget it also comes with a lot of responsibilities in that they carry about 200 lives behind them (sometimes even more).
To make sure that the aircraft and its occupants stay safe, its imperative that Pilots themselves remain in their best shapes and physically fit all the time.
This is exactly the reason why they undergo medical tests frequently and in this video we will look at how can you get DGCA Class 1 and Class 2 medicals done in India.

When you get class 1, dgca keeps your class 2 and you only have the higher class 1 certificate, so you need not renew both Multiples of 5 rule means, renewals at the ages of 20, 25, 30 etc only to be done at one of those specified centres (this rule is now removed till 40 yrs age)
