having used this mod, what I love about it is that it's huge but thing is, you don't really have to do EVERYTHING in the mod, you can just instead focus on what you want to do. Yeah you'll need to do some things that are essential but I focused on just being a spellcaster rather then have a magical base with automated stuff going on and now I've got spells that can one shot most mobs with really good arcanist armor that gives me more then an extra 100 mana. So, for anybody reading this that may feel overwhelmed by how big it is. The only things I think you need to know are what source is, the imbuement chambers and enchanting apparatus to craft most the items and you just learn more from there working towards what you want. I haven't even touched rituals yet but since I've maxed out my tier 2 gear I'm gonna be doing that soon and that's just proof that of though it may seem large and complicated it's not really as bad as you think. Give it a try if you're looking for a simple magic mod because this one mod has lots of cool things to do whenever you feel like learning it. Edit: THAT being said though, my ONLY complaint are finding wilden dens. Not sure if there is a way to track one down but because you have to find a den to get wilden parts for most your stuff I had to cheat and use a locate command so if any of you know a better way let me know, thanks.

Playing a mod with this installed I've been so busy just getting the basics for all the stuff I haven't even gotta go delve into this amazing mod till today. I found three of the woods. Need vex. Found source and seeds in a spawner chest. Had the book like day 2 in game. Only had the base book. Which made a huge difference in mining and fighting lol. Range attacks are amazing. Time to start everything else lol listening to the spells .. there's a silk touch spell... Omg 😅

So Im guessing I wont get an answer, but when I try to make the Air Essence the chat show "No recipe found." I have the setup exactly like this 18:38 but it wont work? Im in 1.18.2 if that helps, but I should have the materials (feathe, arrow, wilden wing) in the right spots as well as 5 full jars to do it, so I dont understand whats going wrong?

i would check the in game book to make sure those are in the game. when i played on 1.16.5 these were not in the game, now im playing in 1.20.1 and they are. The in game book should have a recipe for you and if not then check the JEI for the imbuement chamber recipes. The version youre playing might not have them.

So if you really have trouble you can place an arcane core next to a unemployed villager and the tier three trades of the shady wizard are always shards. There are only four types of shards and you get two types so it’s a 50/50 shot you get the starbunkle the first time. I don’t find I have trouble with finding starbunkles or drygmy but I almost always use this tactic as getting wixies can be a huge pain. You’ll want the other trades anyhow. They can have a trade to buy fibers or amethyst shards which are both like getting emeralds for free.

Won’t be doing a video for that but it’s simple. Each tier of glyph has a certain level of gel. To craft a glyph you put a tier of gel in and then a catalyst item to mix with it. Make sure you are supplying source to it and it will auto craft and pop out. JEI will say what the crafts are for each glyph

If you are using just JEI, Jade and ars nouveau then nearly nothing. 4gb of ram is enough. If you have a bigger pack with 200 mods then 8 gigs of ram would be minimum but 10-12 gigs would be recommended

I already discovered why I couldnt, there was a pedestal next to the enchanting place, and it somehow blocked the enchanting apparatus from working bruh, but still, thank you for trying to help! thank you for the tutorial, without it, I would never play ars and always think that its a too complicated mods, that is so complicated, that I would die of old age before I would understood 1% of the mod
