I recently bought this and I’m pleased with the design. I have some suggestions/criticisms that might only apply to my specific condition. One criticism. My cats graze so feeding once a day just doesn’t work. They feed multiple times a day. Sometimes 8 times. They take bites and come back for more. I understand the complexity with thawing, but this is a software feature that I hope can be tweaked.

I just got this and I think it’s great and the app is great and how easy it is to use but my only concern is the plug, where it plugs into the electrical outlet, the plug gets VERY WARM. I tried different outlets and same thing. I don’t know if I should be concerned…

Is there anyway to turn up the volume on this thing? I have to keep in my bedroom because my cat spends most of his time in the bed and wouldn’t be able to hear the bell noise at feeding time. I wish it had some kind of alarm that would go off for at least 30 seconds.

The power supply runs insanely hot. Seems like a potential fire hazard.

So literally NOTHING works on this piece of crap. It won't connect to wi-fi or Bluetooth, and even the damn verification emails won't go through. (And yes, I'm connecting to a 2.4 GHz network, and with the email have checked spam, double checked that the address is spelled correctly, etc.) I would not recommend this monstrosity to anyone.

Right. Same here. Support’s “solution” was to try it on a new device. I got a brand new phone and still wouldn’t work. Emailed a screen recording showing the firmware won’t even download the update much less install it and got no response. Returned it to amazon and got a brand new Petlibro polar, still doesn’t update firmware. Too bad bc it’s a good product that’s junk if I can’t update it.

It looks like a mess. Also, I don't know if I'm alone, but I have to warm up wet food if it's refrigerated. Otherwise, my cat vomits.

Hi! Polar pauses its cooling effect 30 minutes prior to serving the scheduled portion so it can reach a more cat-friendly temperature.
