outstanind, had not shot my OU in 12 years (I know I know) and could not remember how to get it back together. Good advice on storage, I simply lubed up the snap caps when it was in storage, will do this instead for the future. Oh and the springs, should be fine regardless.

Did Barretta use SKB to manufacture their firearms? Because that is definitely made by SKB. It looks just like my Weatherby Athena (SKB 885).

Not all, but nearly all Berettas are manufactured by Beretta (the SO9 was outsourced for some reason). This shotgun is the SO5, Berettas flagship premium grade gun. It was built in Beretta’s (Duo) factory in Italy. I’m sure they probably do share very similar features. I have never used an SKB, but I’ve heard they are solidly good performing guns.

I met loads of people whove said to not put grease on a firearm theres gun lubricant to use

Hello, it depends on what part of the gun you are addressing: Gun oil for barrels, grease for hinges and bites, silicone oil for woodwork.

I have New CZ Drake O/U and I can not assemble to barrels to the receiver. I saw your video and it looks so simple , however, I can’t seem to get the proper angle to get the round lugs into the crescent shaped openings….suggestions welcomed…desparately

Hi! Don’t fret to much over it…just take your time and with practice it becomes second nature. Push the opening lever all the way to the right. The lever should lock itself into this position. Near the rear of the barrels, see the little curved semi-circle on each side of the monobloc at the bottom front of the monobloc? These go over and behind the trunions (round surfaces on the inside of the receiver near the front edge). Hold buttstock in right hand with receiver horizontal. Hold barrels in left hand with the muzzles tilted toward floor at about a 45 degree downward angle. Insert barrel section into receiver section and hook these semi-circle hooks over the trunions in the receiver. The little round protrusions on the side of the ejectors should slide into the top edge of the receiver. Lift up barrels, thereby rotating the barrels on the trunions in the receiver. The action will lock shut with the opening lever returning to the center of the stock position.
