I've had this juicer for over a year now collecting dust on my countertop. After a week of water & dry fasting, I finally pulled it out to do some juicing. My only regret was that I didn't do it sooner because this is an amazing piece of equipment and worth every penny. [ Dated April 26th 2024 ]

@Namawell My only issue was assembling this bad boy. There were so many pieces to it that I was intimidated to use it, especially when I was hungry, so I'd just use my blender instead. Familiarity is important, though, because once you learn how to connect everything, it's seamless. And it's a quiet product too, which I love because I used to own a juicer back in the 00s that woke up the entire house. I'll be using it every day for a month on fwd [ clearing my gut from toxins ], which is the reason I ended up here. But, I so wish that when I opened the box, I came here first, instead of having it in peaces on my counter as an ornament for so long. I would have been much healthier by now, but better late than never 😉

You have to assemble the chamber and lock it, before you put it on the base. You cannot assemble it on the base.

I initially thought I had a problem as it wouldn't turn on and I checked and rechecked everything until finally I realised that my starting point for placing the hopper onto the chamber was incorrect - so even though it was locking firmly onto the chamber, it wasn't in the correct position. I hadn't aligned the lock symbols as showing in this very good video. The key to remember is that when you're in front of the J2, the handle of the hopper should be FACING DIRECTLY AT YOU - to the front, not off to the right. I think I was used to using appliances where the handle faced out to the right-hand side and didn't realise the handle on the J2 should finish in the locked position pointing directly at you. It should line up directly above the Power-ON dial on the base. I feel really dumb about this, but I hope this little bit of info helps somebody else.

What this person said above definitely needs to be included in this video or in your written instructions. It's not listed anywhere and in my opinion is a both a design and education flaw. Please fix this so other users like myself aren't wasting 40 plus minutes trying to figure out how to turn this thing on. I finally got it based on this comment above.

Just got mine last week! It’s already assembled for you, and maybe that’s how they make it now in 2023. I just had to add the hopper onto the chamber and add it to the base. Which confused me cuz in the booklet it says u have to assemble everything just like in this video. They basically have done just about everything for you! Haven’t juiced yet but I will definitely leave a review today when I come back shortly!

Hello Nama J2 people, I am wondering if the juicer can be reassembled and ready to go for the next day once all the parts are cleaned and dry? Just thinking it would save me time in the mornings if I didn’t have to stop to assemble everything. I found with my current juicer that it’s better to leave everything airing out in between uses otherwise an odor builds up. Thanx for answering.

I’ve had my Nama j2 since the end of November 2021 ,lately I’ve been having problems with taking the auger out after juicing to clean it and placing it back in place. It’s very hard to pull out to clean and just as hard to put it back in. Idk why this is happening.

When removing the auger make sure you are lifting with two hands; each hand on top of the two blades 2. Try rocking or wiggling while lifting, instead of pulling straight upwards 3. You can put your chamber in the refrigerator for a little bit. The cold air will help release the built-up pressure 4. Lastly, you can try soaking in warm soapy water for a few hours and then trying the reverse method again If none of this works and your auger is still stuck, please email us at support@namawell.com and we would be happy to assist you!

Thanks. Just tried the juicer and it works well. However, you need to put it together and take it apart several times to understand. The video announcer goes fast at some points in assembly, but I could not do it and unaseemble without the video. Also, I enjoy the juicer but did not find it THAT easy to clean compared to other juicers I have had.

I made the mistake of misaligning the the small and large wings of the strainer AND i kept making the mistake of assembling on the base. There is a little plastic safety piece that does not go down until you assemble off you unit.

When i rest the chamber onto the base i thought that there would be a clicking locking sound like i believe to have seen on some youtube videos. Is the chamber suppose to be tight onto the base or come off easily ?

Hi there! Once you have properly assembled your parts and placed the chamber on top of the motor, you might be ale to hear a light click sound. The chamber will be secure once properly assembled on the motor. However once you have finished juicing, you can easily lift the chamber off the motor for easy disassembly and cleaning. @@candacewilson5088 Hi there, the rocking is normal as the base is not secured to the chamber. The stronger torque on our machine will cause minor rocking, and that is perfectly normal. The stronger torque in our machine allows you to juice hard and fibrous produce.

Hi! The Large Hopper’s lid was designed purposefully to have a tighter fit to avoid it loosening overtime. To remove the lid, pull it off to the side slightly and it will come off. Hi! We recommend putting the juicer in reverse every time you disassemble. In this case, we’d suggest running some warm water through and alternating between forward and reverse. The torque can cause a pressure build up which can make parts stick. Reversing & warm water usually breaks the suction seal. Additionally, here are some tips to help loosen the hopper from the chamber: 1. Place the auger on the drive shaft of the chamber (without strainer or spinning brush) and rotate clockwise 2 or 3 times 2. Reassemble your juicer, put the pulp lever in the half-open position, and reverse your juicer for 20 seconds The video below will demonstrate how to prevent this from happening in the future: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mnaTg2B3jch1has (This video also applies to the J2!) I never had problems with a juicer before. A $100 juicer works better than nama j2. Very pissed it not working

Hi there! Due to the strong torque of the motor, slight movement of the chamber while juicing is completely normal. The chamber securely locks into the base, and any slight movement does not affect the performance of the juicer. Hi, the juicer is designed to rock a bit on the motor because the of the high torque of the motor. The rocking keeps any parts from breaking under the torque while juicing. I'm here to debunk this, it's very easy. Per usual, human error is the problem. I had an issue initially with the hopper, I didn't have it lined up per instruction. As I pieced the parts together, use, and wash them, I understood how well thought out the design and hassle free installation.

Ours won't turn on. I bought a J2 as a Christmas gift for the wife and it won't turn on. We have followed the directions and rechecked everything several times. Not user error, I repair things regularly. Product, brand new from the box, DOES NOT WORK. For $533 this thing should work!

This thing frustrates me. I spend at least 30 minutes or so trying to get the hopper on. I make sure everything is lined up, turn to you tube to watch this video and STILL have difficulty getting it to get into the locked position; I'm concerned about damaging it if I try to force it. SMH

It seems easy....but is NOT!!! There is NOTvertical line to alined the upper chamber with the lower. I regret this purchase.🤯😡

We had a masticating juicer and a Aicook centrifugal juicer like this one kzbin.infoUgkxXHNfxr6U9XrHQpsdjUrKNVP231BfS9q9 Both of them made about the same amount of juice.The Aikcook one died in 3 weeks haha. China brand. LolSo we bought this one since at least we knew the brand name and it was about the same price.Imagine our surprise when we make two 16 oz cups of celery juice and have leftover celery. We juiced it and made almost another cup! Same thing happened with our cucumber juice. So it's about 20 - 30 % more juice than our other two juicers including the masticating cold press one!The motor is so much stronger on this one than the Aikcook. It sucks in the vegetables and spits them out like it's angry.I've only had it a few days so don't know how long it will last but all the plastics and interior is much stronger and better made than the other two we had. If it breaks, I can buy a new one with the savings in vegetable bill. Haha.This literally is going to save me about 60- 80 bucks a month because of the juice output. No one likes to waste food.Update! It broke in 8 days. Motor started freaking out. I'm going to get another of them and try my luck because I really really want this one to be the one.
