I must ask why assembly is required? Stihl Canada and Germany assemble for the customer. So why not stihl USA?

they do in the USA the stihl dealer puts them together, fills with fuel and tries them out before they give them to you and for people who don't know any thing about equipment, the dealer walks them through the operation of the saw for them

@@TwoFeatherChannel this is battery powered, Husqvarna ships their top handle(T540i) unassembled. Takes about 4-5 minutes to assemble though. Not very long.

@@zvzzbzzdy doesn't matter if it is gas, battery, coal or fart powered. Stihl is sold by Stihl dealers only, while Husqvarna can be purchased at Home Improvement stores, Farm Supply stores, Building Supply stores. it's Stihl policy

My question is, why must you put an assembly instruction on KZbin, only authorized dealers are allowed to assemble. If you're sending out units not assembled, you will lose your dealership.

Except that some dealers are able to sell battery equipment in the box. Like if you run to Rural King or Ace, you may see the se33, or some hedge trimmers inside of the box.

It's just like having to put string in a trimmer head. It's just part of running the equipment

The point is I am paid to assemble and test the product to insure it is working properly. Its Stihl not IKEA.

@@Rockjock007 If you don't know how to do basic maintenance to a chainsaw don't test it. Seems like a skill issue to me. Also comparing putting a bar and chain on to assembling Ikea furniture is actually comedic.
