Still not 100% helpful if you don’t know anything about drums. I got it for my son and still no idea how to install it.

So this was my first e-Kit setup. I have to say it was fairly easy. Still took me about two hours with all the boxes. The stand clamps are well made and i love the ability to turn the drum pads up and down to adjust anyway I like. It looks great. Cant wait to start playing !

I have literally just bought this kit today and can't wait to start setting it up, it's going to sound stupid but can you use a normal hi hat stand on this kit? Or does it have to be a specific one? Cheers
@davidcowan2105 Жыл бұрын
Yes. In fact the hihat pad requires a regular hihat stand.

why did Roland design this with the hiHat in such an awkward position relative to the kick, and also the module positioned smack dab in the middle??

I unplugged my stuff then go confused about what w ire went where. Dudes, I super A.D.D.-out with impatience at most of KZbin's (or any, really) assembly videos!!!, but I have nothing but great experiences with Roland videos. And I think Roland is probably the only channel I can say that about. No fluff, high speed, straight up no distraction backgrounds. So MUCH love for knowing your audience!!!!!

I just got this kit with double pedal. It has been a pain in the ass to place the high hat pedal next to the double pedal and the snare stand.

I just got this kit yesterday. I'm in the process of setting up and for the life of me, I cannot find the cable for the ride cymbal or the cable for crash 2. I've not thrown out any boxes or packing, I've searched everything, and I've kept everything organized during the unboxing process. At this point, I'm not sure what to do besides pull my hair out. I feel like in missing something but I'm not sure how.

The fact that the snake inputs get disabled when connecting the digital pads sucks, as does the absence of a MIDI sequencer so we cant expand the kit through MIDI in with something like an eDrumin module.

Nope, the CY-13R on other kits acts as the ride, so it needs to have the bell plugged in. But since this kit has the CY-18DR as its ride. The 13 becomes the second crash, so just one cable. Hope that helps.

What are the cables labeled RDB, RD, and SNR for? You didn’t address that. Otherwise, very helpful. Thanks
