If you have bought a Roland TD-27KV2 here are some must-have upgrades!
I upgraded the PDX-100 toms for two PD-108 toms for mounting on the rack and a PD-128 BC for the floor tom. I also bought another PD-128 BC for a second floor tom.
I also upgraded the KD-10 tower kick pad for a much more sturdy and better looking KD-120, but I’m also going to upgrade this to a KD-140 when finances allow.
I aded a CY-5 to use as a slash cymbal in the centre and I added a PD-8 rubber pad to assign as a china, cowbell or second kick drum.
On top of this I made a few mods to allow me to mount the TD-27 module much higher, up and out of the way, and another mod for a headphone hanger.
