⁠@@dyson this new gen5 floor dok is rubbish it doesn’t match the website images it now has no weight in the base and stick comes in two parts making it bench with gen 5 to the point of snapping

Hi, Please consider developing cordless upright vacuum. You did incredible work miniaturizing motors and improving battery life, but over time your handheld models still grew significantly in size. Although the bin size also increased to the more practical levels, the emptying experience is still miserable. The dust is flying around, undermining your great HEPA filtering system. Just imagine the possibilities of bigger form factor combined with your latest technology.

Wouldn’t emptying the larger dustbin be harder than the current stick vacuums like the V12 / V15?

@@Ebu26 , not necessarily. Currently you have to carry an entire vacuum cleaner including the battery, the motor and the cyclone with all the filters etc just to empty the bin. Now, imagine that you can leave most of this component on the upright vacuum - it would make a larger bin much more manageable.

I can't see this on the Dyson Irish website, if not why is this only available in a few countries? We paid 900e for this and it didn't fit in our previous Dyson floor dock which we had so it is quite a step back and we're unhappy at this.

Is it possible to get rear plate that hold multiple attachment slots instead of the simple rear plate without attachment brackets
