You could honestly buy a Canadian pattern 64 jump ruck frame for $180 they are still available on Canadian surplus websites but the shipping is probably costly for us in the us.

Fantastic video! Thank you for doing this. I have a repro frame on the way and was starting to panic on how to rig it up. Leave it to the Army to make something complex. Are the straps reproduced at all or do you have to find original/NOS straps etc?

Absolutely! glad it will be helpful to you! Straps are absolutely reproduced for the LW frame. I personally Reproduce some of the straps. With the exception of the shoulder straps, and lower Horizontal. And there are others who also reproduce straps as well. including the the shoulder straps.
