Folding starts at 1:33 Button gets snapped at 3:27 Everything in this video is worth paying attention to, but watching it while sitting there terrified and confused was admittedly torture. The most important part is that the propellers are meant to be contained in their partitions with a little play, not pinned against the drone completely unable to move. You should be able to gently wiggle each motor just under 1/4 turn if the propellers are properly partitioned. Especially when the strap is brand new and not broken in you may need a bit of tightness to make the first 10-20 snaps. So its very important that you have the propellers partitioned properly so you dont bend or crack them while applying this gentle pressure to make the button reach and snap into the hole. I promise its a daunting task at first but with practice you can do it in seconds. I was launching and landing my drone in my hand in the first 10 minutes but it took me a solid week to learn how to put this strap on quickly and safely. Its extremely important to learn how to do it well.

Very useful - thanks. I was stumped and hence looked for a video. Another thought - mini 4 pro on bottom also means two bumps are aligned. I found looking at 2 bumps an easy way to ensure alignment. Props on the inside was the biggest clue for me. Thanks.

Despite it’s small size, the Mini performs well in moderate wind. I’ve never encountered a situation where wind was a problem. My guard requires a little pressure for that button to click into place which feels like i’m pressing on the drone leg a bit too hard, is that normal?

DJI definitely needs to re-tool the design. It takes quite a significant press to make that little button part push in.
