I was going through antique shops at Christmas and noticed quite a few rabbit and mink stoles. I was thinking of picking up a few and doing this. I love my winter coat for warmth, weight, and fit. The fake fur around the hood is tacky and itchy. If I get one or two I might be able to trim the hood and the bottom.

Oh, that's a great idea. Just try to check what are the condition of pelts. They need to be soft and elastic. We are making a lof of restyling from old coats of our customers. Even 20-30 years coats are in great conditions
