I have the following two questions on this subject, maybe someone can help me: 1. What are the exact included parts (incl. accessories and storage) when ordering an original nato bracelet from Omega? 2. Should other spring bars be used when changing from the original steel bracelet to the nato straps? The spring bars in this video look bent. On my 2021 Seamaster 300 M, the space between the watch case and the original spring bars (from the steel bracelet) is very tight, making it quite hard to insert the nato strap. I did not get any more spring bars with my Omega strap from my official Omega dealer.

I’ve always just used the pins from my bracelet when using a NATO on my Speedmaster with no issues. Same on my other watches too.

I'm the same as Chris, I've always figured if the springbar is good enough for a metal bracelet it should be absolutely fine for a strap.

I use 22mm spring bars for my SMP when wearing a NATO. It will take more force to for the bar to slide out if doing some extracurricular activity. The 22mm bars I buy are slightly thicker too.

Why can i not use the pushpins which are on the original strap? I’ve got pushpins delivered with the genuine Omega nato strap, so it is no problem to install them.

If the watch came on a bracelet the spring bars are a size smaller that of a strap. If its a watch with 20mm lugs then a bracelet comes with 068ST2207 pins and straps come with 068ST2208. Same applies with 22mm but dont know part codes off hand.

You should always use a strap the same width as the one of your watch!

If you use curved 21mm spring bars, it will allow extra space for the strap to fit. I still recommend getting the correct size strap though.

I'm very surprised that Omega's PR and Marketing departments do not insist on presenting the Omega brand with consistency. Time and time again I hear from official Omega promotional video content, completely different pronunciations of the brand. Sometimes Oh-Meg-Ah and sometimes Oh-May-Gah. It is a Greek word and the proper Greek pronunciation is Oh-Meg-Ah. Can we please stick with that? I realise that different people from different parts of the World pronounce Omega differently. But in this context this is not just the Greek word, but a brand name. So Omega should expect that their brand is presented with consistency and hopefully inline with the actual proper pronunciation of the word.
