Glad to hear! As long as you gather your shareholder ownership proof and bring photo ID to the will call area, you should be able to get the meeting credential. Make sure to also have Covid-19 vaccination proof as they stipulated. Enjoy the meeting!

Thank you, glad to be of help! You can try to experiment with the CLEAR app to see if you can upload your certificate ahead of time, or try to contact their support to see if there is a way? I know Berkshire's Health and Safety Info states, "For international attendees and shareholders who do not use the CLEAR app, we will have marked doors for you to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination and proper identification. Digital or hard copy of your COVID-19 vaccination record will be required." So hopefully you will be good to go! Safe travels and good luck! :)

Thank you very much Dandin! What I recommend doing is buying at least one share of Berkshire B so that you can have the shareholder proof from your brokerage account with your name also shown and also bring photo ID to the Will Call area. Maybe you will hold onto the share for a long time, or you can sell it again whenever you decide. This is just my opinion and I hope for all the best in your decision! :)

Hey AJ, the company movie at 8:30am and the main meeting is the Q&A from 9:15am-3:30pm. The business meeting at the end isn't what most people come to Berkshire for -- it's the main event from 8:30-3:30pm basically.

I received mine after about a week and a couple of days. I think it could take a couple of weeks. You could try to reach out to them, either mail or call as there is a contact with some of Berkshire's press releases. If you don't get them, bring proof of ownership and ID to the will call. Why does Warren Buffett have 150 billion sitting in cash doing nothing? What type of investment strategy is that?

That's the $150 billion question, which is very good!! Although Buffett has been doing a good chunk of buybacks, he hasn't found much he wanted to pour all the money into, so the cash has been sitting in US treasuries as he waits for either stocks or whole companies to go on sale. He did buy at least $5B of OXY recently, and scattered a few $1B into a few more holdings. He's waiting for better deals and I guess it's worth the opportunity cost to him for the time being.

@@MichelleMarki The problem is good companies don't go on sale that's why he bought Precision Castparts at a 20% premium above price. When is the last time CHD went on sale? What about HD? A lousy $1000.00 in 1981 in Home Depot at an annual 28% rate of return is now worth 20 million. One thousand became 20 million, no other company investment comes close, no tech, just stuff people need. What about DHR, UNH, SYK, never on sale.

@@beepbeepnj2658 You make excellent points! This is why Buffett says he makes mistakes and he will continue doing so. And it's true that maybe these good companies hardly ever go on sale, if they do. I haven't studied Church & Dwight but I know they're an excellent NJ company! The only maybe opportunity to buy some wonderful companies sort of on sale is during market crashes and severe recessions, like at the end of 2008/early 2009 and March 2020. This is why we should prepare our stock buy prices in what discount we're hoping for so we are mentally ready when it's time to buy. I'm hoping Buffett's doing that! :)

From watching Berkshire meetings broadcast before, sometimes people have their children ask questions, so I am pretty sure that kids are allowed but if you're not sure check out Berkshire's news press releases and there is a point of contact maybe you can get a hold of.
