I was taking down hummingbird feeders to clean them yesterday. I stopped in mid-air because a hummingbird decided it wanted a drink right then. After it took its drink, it went to a hanging flower basket inches away and took a "drink" from one of the flowers and flew off. I have 3 solar fountains and 1 electric. The electric one has a ridged waterfall that hummingbirds take baths in. Mainly, the other birds use the solar ones. Thank you for everything you share.

When you see a hummingbird it’s very lucky indeed, because it is known as a healer if you’re ever in need. Despite its small size it flies great distances and even flies backwards too. I'd much rather people just grow their plants & flowers (forgetting the feeder) if they can't [Physically, mentally, time-wise] afford the upkeep of a clean feeder & nectar. I'm so envious!! I have feeders out for them, some store bought and some I've made from your inspirations!! Now I need to get flowers, have some, but want to get more that hummingbirds love. Thank you, Robbie, for all of the tips about what kinds of flowers hummingbirds like! I probably have half of them! And I never knew that the babies would return the following years, either! We usually only have 2 or 3 hummingbirds between my neighbor & I. Now that I'm going broke making all kinds of little solar fountains for them, maybe we'll get a few more! When I can afford another solar pump, I will ask my neighbor if she would like a fountain. We're both senior citizens, but I still work 2-3 days a week. She's home every day, so she might really enjoy one, too! Thanks for all of your wonderful ideas & information! God Bless!

This has to be one of my favorite videos! Thanks for all the great info - I haven’t seen any birds come to my shoebox fountain yet, but I do have a hummingbird coming to my feeder (and I’m trying not to be the least bit envious of my new neighbors, who have 3 already). I have been trying to get hummingbirds to my feeders for quite a while now. I have a solar fountain going as well as several different type plants, but will buy some different plants and see if that helps. It's just so frustrating they don't come to my house as they go to my neighbor's just around the block. I had two feeders out but decided to go to one until they start coming around as I feel I was just wasting the homemade nectar. I've learned so much from your videos and I thank you for that. Now if the hummers would just cooperate and show up I'd really be happy :)

I’ve had the same thing - my new neighbors already have 3 hummingbirds visiting! Don’t give up though - I now have a hummingbird who visits mine because theirs is too crowded. Also, I only put in a half batch in the feeder and refrigerate the other half for later. Good luck!!

Could you please help me my blooms are falling off my zucchini. They are beautiful big yellow blooms and then they just fall off. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. My other plants are doing great. This is just happening to the zucchini.

First, the blooms do fall off in a few days if they are male flowers, the female flowers fall off a few days later then makes flowers. You may need to hand pollinate. If all goes well tomorrow, I’m going to give another suggestion on growing issues, so keep track of that new video for tomorrow.❤😊

Not too close, many feet apart or more, depending on your wild birds, if they’re large, they can intimidate the hummingbirds

I want to do right by the hummingbirds and I have a question. I hear you always saying “white processed sugar” and I’m wondering if the organic unbleached sugar is still ok. Much to my sorrow my HOA decided to hire dudes to spray pesticides. I havent seen a humming bird since. I hope in my heart of hearts they escaped ok. Grrrrrr
