How To Attract New People To Church Through Invitations

Thank you guys so much I have been looking for ways to help get people back in our church. We at one time had more than 150 members in attendance each Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday morning/night services. Our church congregation was an older generation and in about a two year span nearly half of the membership passed away one after the next. It was devastating. Now we have around 20 people each service and that is on a good day. I have been praying and seeking ways to help and this video has me charged up. Thanks again and please pray for my little church and members.

In the church of the Apostles the Lord added members to the church and by signs and wonders people were attracted to the church. I think that would be the best way. And also personal evangelism.

Nice video for a church marketing. But I feel if the person is invited to Christ that's when invitation to church can make sense to him. Though invitation to church can play a vital role in getting them to attend church and getting arrested by the word, but what if there's nothing (the word) to keep the person in the church after the first attendance. I think we should talk more about Christ than we talk about church, church in itself doesn't save anyone, it is the life of Christ that makes a church a place worth being. Thanks

That is subjective. No same two people will come to Christ with the same message usually. Some messages i found lacking were incredibly impactful on other people who showed up to church and heard the same message. The video is simply about effective methods of inviting people to church which is extremely hard nowadays with the increase in skepticism.

I was in bad debt. A friend invited my wife and I to a stewardship week end at her church. I learn from the bible about how God say we should manage finances and more. To make a long story short, the church ministry met a need and I am an active member of that church today. I have been blessed by the wel rounded biblically based ministry of the church. I enjoy inviting people to church. There are so many hurting people that need to hear from Christ Jesus. Thank you for this presentation.

Would you consider adding captains to these some time? Most of the downtime I spend between students and at home I have to be quiet and can't play a video out loud (in the classroom, gym, etc). But I listened to the intro in the car and I'm hooked!

I point out that just having a picnic is not enough. The guest must leave knowing something more about the church. Same point about community groups. I put together a handout with subtle but effective ways

As a non-Christian, I don't mind accepting an invitation to a church per se but I will have two questions: 1. What is the target noise level in dBA? Though I don't profess the Christian Faith, I still believe in God and care for the temple of my body that he gave me, so I want to avoid dangerous noise levels that can contribute to hearing loss. Most churches today are more like rock concerts: you leave with your eardrums ruptured and your ears ringing. 2. What is the song content. For example, does the church practice exclusive psalmody, exclusive Bible singing, inclusive hymnody, exclusive hymnody, or something else? I feel uncomfortable singing Christian extra-scriptural hymns because I question my agreement with their content, but will happily sing the Bible itself.
