There is one thing I'd like to mention about men and dating especially online. I have a few guy friends who share their experiences with me and I generally observe behavior. I can only speak in my age group which is 50s. Men seem to like to / want to date one woman at a time. To focus on one and see how it goes. They get turned off when women date multiple men. I think what it means for them is they feel they invest in getting to know a woman with their time and resources. They don't want to be taken advantage of for a free meal or ghosted because the next best thing came along. It's almost like a role reversal from earlier years where men used to want to play the field and women wanted a steady man to now men want the steady woman and women who no longer have the biological clock ticking want to have fun, date, be social and do their thing. Between knowing myself and the amazing open conversations I have with men, I have gleaned a bit. Good men struggle at this age to find a good woman to partner with. Granted there still men who want to date younger women and play the field. They just haven't been the ones who cross my path.

Hi Helena, Thank you So Much for your relationship wisdom. Since I’ve discovered your videos it has been so helpful and rewarding for me. I’m currently single, and it’s very emotionally painfully and frustrating for me after being in failed relationships;the last one bring approximately 3 months ago... and the beginning of this video really touched me bc I have never experienced masculine energy come toward me. My father is emotionally unavailable and selfish. And I’ve always had to work for his love or attention and when I’ve done things he didn’t like or approve of , my dad totally does not talk to me anymore and acts like I don’t exist. It’s extremely painful that to gain a relationship with him again, I have to beg for forgiveness from him and he still holds grudges. He is Just a stern, stubborn, selfish, and overly religious man. Even if I meet a guy that wants to date me and in the beginning he pursues me, suddenly he stops and I’m trying to win him back. And in the beginning, when he does pursue me, I feel so uneasy and uncomfortable when guys show me love, affection, and attention. I ask myself , why am I like this ? Why don’t I know how to receive male affection and attention? ... I finally have a little more clarity about myself after watching your videos. I truly desperately want a better love life resulting to a long lasting , loving marriage and advancement in every area of my life. Thank you so much , Helena.

This new man who came into my life has been so open with me. We've had conversations with depth and personality. Also misunderstandings as well that we have worked through. We've been talking for a month, and he says I am like no other woman he has ever met. Part of me wonders if I am being love bombed or if he is just being open and genuine. We have not yet met in person and I feel once we do, everything will become clear to me based on the energy and vibe I get. I love talking to him. I love his voice and we have such fun when we talk. It's a mix of many things. The relationship he has been in is not one he feels fulfilled in. I think I am doing a pretty good job keeping my perspective and allowing things to unfold. Since this man is so different than other men I am used to, I am feeling unsure. I meditate and go slowly knowing all will become clear eventually. There is just too much of a draw for me to say it's a flag at the moment. Is it possible two people have really connected that strongly so early?

I know people that meet online like that and got married after one month, and have been together for almost 20 users. They're very happy! It can happen. Nobody knows everything, just go with your gut and let yourself enjoy it, but be safe still!

Hi Helena and Leigha! I love your videos so much. Leigha I have been following my intuition. My dad tried to make me get a certain job and I really didn’t want to and felt so strongly it wasn’t the right fit. A week later I had 3 offers for employment the same day! I was able to pick the best one for me :) Helena I have been using tor mantra, I am right where I need to be. I unfortunately am in a few very bad relationships with family members. It is not something I can fix. With your videos I have let go of control and stopped trying to fix it. It has made things better for me emotionally but worse because these toxic people are now angry with me and my boundaries. It is not an option for me to leave these family relationships because I have tried many times and it is something that isn’t an option for me. I tried many times to end the relationships and it was just very painful for me and i feel better being in their lives than cutting them out. I am a good communicator but communication is not effective with them. It is not physically abusive, only emotionally. Helena do you have any advice on what I can do to continue to attract better people into my life while maintaining these bad relationships? The issue is if I focus on the good things in these bad relationships and am soft, it is very scary for me because my boundaries are invaded. I have to maintain a very hard exterior and enforce boundaries constantly and not allow myself to be emotionally abused. I feel it is making it hard for me to attract positive things and be in alignment. Do you have any ideas? I’m really not concerned with changing them or the situation, I’m just wanting to be at a good vibration to be able to be in alignment with really amazing and healthy relationships. I feel most of the time I am in my powerfully feminine mode/mind set. Would it be correct to say that both the healthy and unhealthy masculine would be attracted to me but being in the healthy feminine, I would only be drawn to the healthy masculine? A man recently entered my life who I am very drawn towards. In my past, I would typically try and find any and all red flags to disqualify him. I know this is something in me to work on (trust) and I have been working on trusting myself. With this man, I am just drawn. We've had a few misunderstandings (mostly in text) that we have been able to resolve. He just like no other man I have met in a good way. I think trusting myself (my intuition) is key here.

The problem is, if you have been in bad relationships in your past that had emotionally, physically, socially & financially destroyed you, that there is no coming back from that, in the past you may have attracted men needing them to emotionally fulfill you, but now you are now not only emotionally but financially needy also as the previous have destroyed you

One thing I detest is that you have these things happen to you when you are a child and when you are an adult you have to clean up the mess! I've had to come so far battle through so much I've felt every bit of my pain for decades! I know a man isn't just going to come along and fix all that. I've gotten used to being single it's an unwanted attachment that makes me feel crap. I want to be in love I'm 40 years old I don't know what that is! I know why I protect myself I understand myself well related to my behaviour. I have depression which doesn't help it feeds the doubt and fear of course I am afraid men are strangers emotionally to me. I have the need to be loved just like every other human I am no different.
