You are so good at making these videos. Idk how you do it. I have programmable keyboards so I'm debating if I really want/need one of these devices on top of that.

Oh thank you! 😅️im still not satisfied with the quality so I'm constantly trying to make them better but the praise is nice to hear ^_^ Honestly i think it's amazing for stream as i can have nested menus within menu's and with mine being 32 keys i can have a folder on my streaming profile that with a button press it opens a folder with 31 new buttons each for a common emote. it makes it easy to easily and VISUALLY have access to a plethora of commands, emotes, text commands, etc. :)

Excellent repurposing... ... knowing the deck 'only' as a vid editor tool. Also shout out for the reminded for Gingko, which I had viewed and passed over a few years back from the recent newsletter.

Hey Bryan, It seems like the theme that gets sent through the email subscription is different than what I see in your videos. Would you mind updating it?
@BryanJenks4 жыл бұрын
I actually did update it recently, so it should be the same
@ggs49894 жыл бұрын
@@BryanJenks Hmm, the one I was just sent has some funky gradient for titles, and quotes are formatted differently in a different color... among other things
@BryanJenks4 жыл бұрын
@@ggs4989 lol yeah thats my current theme. i have gradients on the titles, i use a separate font for the titles, quote text should be the same except the extra quote symbol

elgato is extremely expansive for what it is doing. And definitely not worth the cost for the additional hassle of manually applying stickers to any macropad. If you go the macropad option you can also get more customization options.
@BryanJenks4 жыл бұрын
I wanted to avoid the stickers and preferred the digital icons and profiles that the stream deck offered. Im pretty happy with it but I'm glad you have a less expensive option that worked for you :)

@@BryanJenks gone on a internet search rabbit hole after watching the video. Found some android apps that have this functionality, where you can turn your old tablet or phone into a functional macro pad. Does not fit my use case, since I require low level key presses for my functions. I have to stick to something like arduino mini.
