Thanks so much for this video, so helpful! Quick question - I decided to add an email after 60 days asking people to click on a link if they want to stay subscribed. After I send that email, I added an if/else condition. So, if they do not click the link, they're unsubscribed... BUT if they do click the link, would I just end the automation Inactive - Wait automation? Thanks!!

Appreciate this video! If I wanted to unsubscribe people from list say, after 30 days, would you break it into 10 days/10 days/10 days ? Or only doing that in case you wanted to send a custom email or something to someone after the 10 day mark (30 for your example in the video) to try and re-engage them?

Hi Nick, it's just personal preference. You could do 1 wait of 30 days and then unsubscribe them. Or, you could "chunk" them into groups of 10 days in case you want to send a re-engagement email or something. So, either way!

Hi Sarah, hmm. So, is everyone going through it 8 times a day? Or, just people that are actively opening and clicking on emails? I mean, it should fire off every time someone engages with an email, but besides that... it should be pretty "still".

Thanks for this! I might be missing something but what shows they are inactive? They enter a sequence then 30 days later they receive an inactive tag *if* they are inactive or just to show they have been a sign up for 30 days then you can manually go into profile and check activity? If it is *if* they are inactive, how does the system know from this automation? Thanks!

The second automation does that. It resets the first one every time a subscriber interacts with your emails.

Hi Andrew, yes. If they don't have any emails to open or click, they'll be removed/tagged as such. So, that's one thing to note if you send emails quarterly or something. You might want to extend the length of inactivity or not remove people, but just tag them.
