A soon to be launched website ( brand new domain). i have been working on the content and design. I have added noindex, nofollow and it’s equivalent robots.txt and meta tags and finally X-Robots-Tag as well. i Don't know why but i did verify my domain in the search console+added Google Analytics 4 via Google Tag Manager. now my question is will the November update or any google updates effect my website rankings in future when i Allow crawling/indexing?

Hello, I have a question... At the publisher where I work we have a content syndication model where we receive texts from more than 150 different publishers and we publish those contents within our product; giving the respective credit. We make it clear to our reader that they are reading content created by an external media outlet. Publishers are paid a RevShare of programmatic advertising revenue. What I want to know is if this model, which has been on the air for more than two years, could be causing us duplicity problems with Google's algorithm. Was I clear with the question?

Good question! This is a tricky thing. As it is indeed duplicate content, Google might select the original outlet as the canonical - if the original site wants your URL to show up in search instead, they have a few options. They can use rel-canonical and maybe even a redirect to signal to Google Search, that they'd rather have your URL show up. If the content in your product is behind a login or not accessible to Googlebot anyway, then this isn't a problem either as Google Search wouldn't know about it.

@@martinsplitt9666 Considering that both publishers want their version of the content to rank on Google, do you think this is something that may be negatively affecting my publisher's performance on Google? Is there any way to be 100% sure if this is affecting my site in any way? Thanks for your help

What is with synthesized content, that is published on two different URLs? We have a problem with that, huge actually, because Google started ranking the other site better than ours - but we use canonical URLs for everything, on the other site as well. Still, we cannot do anything against Google ignoring our original site more and more.

We have localized pages on our website. The language dropdown selector in the header of our website is crawled by search engines and thus we were accidentally getting non-translated content indexed (i.e. - pages in /es-es/ that weren't translated were getting indexed). To fix this, we implemented a rule that automatically adds a canonical to the ENG version if the page isn't translated/localized in other languages. The rule also adds a robots meta tag with "noindex" to help ensure the non-translated content that gets crawled doesn't get indexed. What are your thoughts on this strategy to prevent non-translated content in regional subfolders (i.e. - /es-es/) from getting indexed?

SiteLinks and effect of the JSON-LD structured data are not described enough I think, any help describing them would be great
