Wise. Highly recommended. Been their customer since 2015. It was actually recommended to me by an ex employer who is a German doing business in the UK. 😄 I opened my account in Asia and I've never had any issues with it now that I live in Hungary. Thank you for this video. Will be very useful as my hubby will be moving to DE soon for work.

just to add, moving money out of india is very difficult/time-consuming (send money from INR to EUR, even with Wise). Another option is to use a Forex/Multicurrency card from a local bank and carry it with you to DE, which I did for my daily expenses.

Exactly, I tried but Wise do not support INR to be loaded. While in UK, I loaded pound, while in Sweden I loaded Swedish Krona, while in Germany I loaded Euro into my Wise Account but I could not load INR into Wise even from my NRE Account in India. So are you saying that I should load INR in the multi currency card in India and bring here in Germany and if I use that Card then automatic Euro conversion will happen and that amount will get deducted from my loaded INR amount?

Because of sanctions against my home country it now costs the same as bank transfers (used to be less). I just use my debit card to pay directly. Drawing money costs a greater fee as the debit is on a ''european plan'' so there is no conversion rate for direct use in europe. Maybe in some countries you can do that as well, I know with american express there are no conversion fees to dollars in my home country as well, so if you have an option to get a card that will have no conversion fees for direct use - it is a great option.

Hey can you please make a video on how the new Deutchlandsemester ticket will work? Because I am a student of University of Cologne and will soon be starting my classes there and from summer semester they have introduced the Deutchlandsemester ticket but I am not sure how it works. Love your videos btw, helped me a lot.

My experience with Paraguay has been that a Debit Card from Paraguay, on top of the processing fees at some German ATMs, incurs a fee of 5% at the bank in Paraguay. Meanwhile a traditional bank transfer from Paraguay to Germany incurs a fee of only 2% at the originating bank. If possible I try to initiate a bank transfer between Monday and Wednesday, so the transfer comes through by Friday evening. Otherwise the banks will have two extra days to make a profit with your money without giving you any benefit at all.

Great video! Quick question though. How often would you recommend transferring money under 10,000 dollars if you wanted to do it multiple times?

Hello ! I APRECIATE ALL THE VIDOES THAT YOU HAVE MADE UNTIL TODAY . And i want to thank you sooo much . In 1 month i will move to germany and start working there . I am a person who downloads and uses many apk applications as well as mods from Google where I get many paid services from them for free. I have heard that in Germany there are many laws that protect copyright and fines in these situations. Can you please make a video where we can get a little more information on this topic as well as the situation for watching movies online.

This is what I do, but I am looking for an cheaper way: I have a Revolut account in USD and in EUR. I add USD to my USD account using my home country credit card. This has a fee of 2.5% if i am not mistaken. It's important to say that I pay my USD debt with my savings (also in USD). Finally, I convert my USD in Revolut to EUR at a 0.5% fee, but with a good exchange rate. So total cost os around 3-3.5% which hurts but it's the best way I have found so far

I was really looking for such an information.😍 I recently inherited a land in Turkey. It is shared with many relatives so it will be sold soon. And my sister will send me the money.(over 10k) I want to ask, I don't have any bank account back in Turkey, I live in Germany and is ist still possible to transfer the money via Wise? Is this money seen as an income or a saving? Thanks in advance 😊😊😊
@sox5404
@sox5404 6 ай бұрын
you will need all the proofing documentation for the inheritance ,and death certificate copy in order to submit it to your bank in germany , either way if you use wise you will need a German bank at the end to take this money

@@Bkomega It is possible to withdraw money in German with no commission fee ( but has a limit of 300 euro per day). BNP Paribas bank network offers withdraw money with 0 commission fee ( Deutche bank for Germany) . Therefore, I have a local bank account in my home country which is in the agreement of BNP Paribas. My family in my home country sends money to my bank account in my home country. Then I withdraw money from Deutche bank in Germany without paying any commission. Totally free, but has a limit for withdraw 300 euro per day. I opened a new German bank account that charges no fee. I put my cash money to that German bank account. Then I can even transfer to another German bank account without any fee. So I don't pay any fee and commission fee.
