Osteoarthritis effects 80% of dogs over the age of 8. It is the most common condition we treat at our rehab centre.
If not managed well, it can have a huge impact on a dogs quality of life and may result in euthanasia. It’s important to act sooner rather than later with this condition.
There are many treatment options and a multi modal approach is most effective.
In this video Pearl explains what happens with severe osteoarthritis and things that we can do as owners to try to avoid these scenarios with our furbabies.
