Hello again Wendy, hope all is well with you and yours. One of the best lessons you have given is that it is OK to mess up now and again. I think it's great that you are not afraid or try to hide your little goofs. I thoroughly enjoy the work you do and your channel to me is one of the best. Be well my friend across the pond.

Hello Forest 👋👋👋 I do mess up like everybody does and I learn from it so it’s good to show. I really think it’s important for people to know that messing up is part of the fun and it’s good 👍 perfection is only achieved when everything that could go wrong is avoided and that takes a lot of learning. One day I might get there 😂😂😂 But I’m not bothered if I don’t 😂😂 it’s all about the fun for me 👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️

Love, love, love the red shell!! I have the frog and the lizard and have been debating whether to get the snail. I think your video just talked me into it! For the frog mold I've been using chunky glitter with resin and putting it into the parts that will be "high" on the frog (his back, thighs, elbows, toes. My issue is that it runs out of the kegs and down on the belly. First time, I just babysat it for hours. Second time, I used air dry clay to block the resin from running into the body. However, the resin kind of stuck to some of the clay and then when getting it off, I pulled up the small layer of glitter and resin. Ughh! I used some UV resin. To "glue" those parts back in but then my "fill" resin went underneath the glitter portions (I hope this makes sense). I wonder if I use the glue you had an issue with if that would help some with the running. My other idea is to use UV resin and chunky glitter so I can angle the frog and not have it run before it cures in those spots. I just haven't mixed 2 part resin with UV resin. Will that cause any problems?
@Toonpish2 жыл бұрын
kzbin.info/www/bejne/mpKXq6BnlLR8i7c I’ve linked a video that might ease your mind a little. Uv resin can detach from epoxy resin by force so it’s not good for instance as glue for a plug. However if will sit inside epoxy resin happily. You could try a plexiglass barrier held in with hot glue. That’s been used quite a bit. Anyway. Good luck and I hope you achieve what you want 👍👍❤️
@carolwalters6469 Жыл бұрын
@@Toonpish I thought about using hot glue but didn't want to melt the mold. There's not really a good place to add a barrier out of plastic. I'll check out the video! Thanks!

@Toonpish Жыл бұрын
Okay so thinking about what you are saying, you need to gently cover the mould using a soft brush. If you keep going over the same area it will come off. But if there is residual powder on the mould it then won’t stick. Turn the mould inside out and completely clean it. Tape will work and isopropyl alcohol will finish it off. The silicone needs to be completely clean. Maybe that’s the issue hear 😀
