As someone who is learning Korean & Japanese, though both having many similarities, its difficult and hard to balance them so I appreciate the video :)

This I understand!! I had the same when I did my Spanish minor, but also learning French for a trip to France. My priorities were studying Spanish for all these exams, and I knew that if I just emerged myself with French every now and then, it would be enough to pick up some phrases. It also helped me recognize the differences between the two! And once I felt reaaaaallly comfortable with both, I would use one language to learn the other. But I cannot do that with every language hahaha good luck studying!!

Language Transfer is also really good for learning languages! It’s active learning that feels like passive learning and it’s so awesome! It’s like a podcast and they’re on KZbin and they have an app which I prefer using. They’re working on adding more languages but right now they only have 8 languages. I’m excited for when they add more languages and I hope they will be able to add Korean and Japanese someday because I will 100% listen to their course if they do.

Been looking for a vid like this! Recently started my 5th language, I staggered languages after getting each past certain levels so it’s still a lot of work between maintaining or improving each individually😅 videos like this are great motivation!

Absolutely not! The more you surround yourself with your target language, the easier your active study sessions will become. It’s never a waste of time! Just adjust your goals to your needs.
