Being a polyglot is so fulfilling - I love understanding different cultures and mindsets and applying them to my own life. Also, speaking to someone in THEIR mother language feels so good because they’re comfortable and free to express themselves how they like and I’m improving my own brain

The correct time you posted this video. Because, I've been learning English for eight months. I know , I'm not fluency yet. But I can feel my progress. Today, I was in college. I had free time. So, I started to revise some phrasal verb. My classmate one girl sat beside of me. She said, hey dude!!! You're learning English so long. You aren't speak English. After heard that, I was feeling blue. I couldn't come out of that incident. Whenever I feel terrible. I remine one quote myself. That was, " I don't give a damn". I wrote this in my diary. Then only I could get better. After watching this video. I've got more confident. Also I like your accent. Love from India... ❤

Merhaba Ruri Dear, This video and the lesson therein I found to be very jubilant, comprehensive and thought provoking, for it is more like to my modus operandi for learning any New language. English is no problem for me, but I am eager to learn Turkce and Deutsch now. So please add more and more videos about lessons in these 02 languages, or any other modern language like Italian and Spanish etc, so as enable me et al to learn some basics of these languages too. Your English is so cool. I found you initially from your first video on how to learn languages and eventually watched your video on ADHD which I have and know a good amount about. It was crazy to see how not only did you know what you were talking about but how well you expressed yourself and your ideas in English. I mean you literally just started a few years ago and now you have very successful and well made videos on many topics and express yourself and get your point across better than most Americans in English. The few mistakes you make genuinely are just a reminder of how much you have accomplished, as specially when the mistakes are bookended with well used and extensive vocabulary. You have become a huge motivator for me in learning Russian and I hope to extend it to other languages as well one day.

Your English have massively improved a TON. You sound more confident, with hints of your cute accent 🥰 If I would add to this method, singing songs in the target language you're tryng to learn will help with retain pronunciation in memory longer. In my case all the songs of the anime I've watch in my life, I still sing them from time to time(Rurouni Kenshin, Ranma 1/2, Hokuto No Ken, Dragonball etc from the 80s) Tus metodos si funcionan Hermosa Ruri, me han ayudado tambien cuando aprendi Ingles(English 🤪) Thank you for all you do. Love ya, hugs, kisses and have an amazing day 💜

Despite small grammar mistakes, you improved very much. Thing that I like about you is that you're able to switch between accents depending on the language. I find that her accent is mainly North American, except for a certain range of words such as “talk, all, cons, solid”, which has similar vowel sounds. It's the way she learned and perhaps the native sounds in Turkish.

Having been Involved with learning The Japanese Language on & off for maybe 20 years, I’m embarrassed that I am not way way more fluent. But I think it’s the “NOT USING THE JAPANESE LANGUAGE” in my daily routines that hinders my ability to retain conversational skills instead of study, incorporate what I’ve studied into my daily life, & ALWAYS BE READING A BOOK, OR THE NEWS, JUST DO WHAT I KNOW HAS TO BE DONE IN ORDER TO ADVACE. JUST DO IT, DAMNIT RON, JUST DO IT. 🤪😁

I’m twice older than you but do the same :-) In times like this it’s a good idea to do something that gives you a fun while things are going in their way that we can’t change. Well Ruri, I would like to thank you for your first video (How I learned English by myself for free without studying it) because it did open my mind about the idiom. I sttoped to search for a magic method and gave your metod a try. My mistake is that I just did input for years, without output and I have some struggles with grammar, speaking and writing skills, but I understand english 90% now, and I know some people that study english for years and can't understand native speakers. Of course I have some things to improve, but I know that from now it will be an easy way for me to going through, because I already understand it easily. Thank you a lot.

Hi! I love listening to your advice, you are very clever, thank you for o posting these videos. I was born and raised in Boston;MA. My parents and grandparents and on for several generations that I can trace, come from Poland. I grew up speaking and reading Polish before English until I started kindergarten. In my area, growing up, we were a “melting pot” of different cultures and ethnicities. I have friends who also grew up and lived close by and they spoke Spanish, Portuguese, Albanian, Vietnamese and other Polish friends. It was so much fun playing and hanging out with each other, learning about each other’s culture and languages. Along with my Polish and English, I am self taught in conversational Spanish and took four years of French and can speak a little to this day. I can also understand many of the Slavic languages such as Czech; Slovakian, Russian even Croatian has many similarities to the Polish languages. I am fascinated by the Japanese culture and I am planning a trip to visit there soon. I’ve been perusing you tube channels for information one should know when traveling far from their comfort zone. I appreciate all the advice here. “😊 Dzienkuje “ - “thank you”

the most important is always to want it and a goal. when I think back to my school days, the most hate to learn it, because its forced and not that what we want. I was not bad but didnt want do deepen it but sometimes in games I couldn't get around it. when I was 16 years old at a vacation, i met people with whom i could only communicate in english, this was the best learning experience. this was my break trough to understand more, to speak better and learned more

Hello 👋 it was a great video. I am from Colombia and sometimes I feel very bad because my listening and speaking do not improve, but now that I see this video it gives me more confidence to continue my journey in English. I am watching your videos with subtitles and I hope one day I will stop using them.

Hi Ruri! I love your videos, and you're such a big inspiration for me :) Seeing that you take feedback well, here are some tiny mistakes I've noticed you make in this video. The correction for each mistake is on the right. Please correct me if I'm wrong about something. 1:12 Take it _as_ a grain of salt. --> Take it _with_ a grain of salt. 1:35 I didn't _attend to_ an English international school. --> I didn't _attend_ an English international school. 3:10 I do relate _on_ that. --> I do relate _to_ that. 4:42 You give yourself _a feedback_ . --> You give yourself _feedback_ . 4:46 _Doing_ mistakes is not a problem. --> _Making_ mistakes is not a problem. 5:52 Find out who _suits for_ you --> Find out who _suits_ you. 10:22 The word "Arabic" has stress on the first syllable, not the second (think of the difference between the pronunciation of "content" as a noun and "content" as an adjective). 15:20 Now I'm _introducing you_ a method. --> Now I'm _introducing to you_ a method.

Hey Ruri we can feel the end of your video so hard with you. Thank you for sharing your journey with us. Maybe someday you will post a vlog in which you would show us your knowledge of German. Would be very interesting because we read that you seem to be multilingual on the road. Kisses from heaven, Seidener Vorhang & Die Regen Königin 💚💚
